Tuesday Night - 4th Floor Common Room

Blair had Hank's pot and a bag of potting soil on the floor of the common room and was playing in the dirt busy repotting the plant. Ever so often he glanced up at the tv to watch COPS and offer commentary on police states.

"I have an idea." Ivanova tapped a few buttons on her link, then held it out. "When I tap this button, yell 'STELLLLLLLAAAAA!' so I can record it as my 'someone needs your attention' sound." She grinned. "That should spread the fun."

Blair grinned and sat up straighter, taking a deep breath. When Ivanova pressed the button he stretched out his arms and yelled. "STELLLLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

He coughed and bounced. "That good?"

When the last 'AAAAAAAA' faded, she stopped the recording and saved it, grinning. "That was great." She tapped another button to replay it and Blair's voice roared out from the back of her hand, almost as loudly as he had just yelled. She winced. "Maybe I should turn down the volume a bit . . ."

"Glad to be of service," Ivanova said, bowing her head a bit with a smile. "Thanks for cheering me up, Blair. I'm still upset that I have to leave Ton- early, but I don't mind it so much anymore."

She handed Talia to Blair and reached for her cane. "I should be off to bed. Could you give me a hand up?"

Blair was just about the only person she would ask for help. Lyta? No way. Han or Silent Bob? Maybe.

Blair bounced up and came right over, helping her up. "Hopefully you'll be all better when you back home. It'll be nicer weather, hopefully!"

"I'm sure I will. Stephen - that's Dr. Franklin - will nag me into good health," she replied dryly. "Why don't you hold on to Talia? I'm leaving in a couple of days anyways." And she didn't know if she would sleep tonight with both Talia and Tonks on the brain. Why did she have to pick her name, of all names, for that little plant?

"Well, whatever way gets you to being all fixed is fine by me!" Blair bounced and nodded. "I'll put her next to Hank under the sunlamp, she'll love it."

"She'll get a nice little tan, I don't think Hank will be able to resist her," Ivanova replied with a smile before limping for the door. "'Night, Blair. I'm sure I'll see you before I leave."
