Second floor common room, Tuesday evening

There's nothing to do, so Jaye wanders to the second floor, kicks her feet up on the coffee table, and waits for someone to entertain her.

And someone had better entertain her. Preferrably with antics.

"You surpass normal? You're, um. Paranormal?"

"There's so nothing paranormal about me," says Jaye quickly.

Xander eyed her askance. And the rest of her too. "What, nothing? In this school?"

"The others can be the abnormal and therefore normal ones." She blinks. "Wait."

[soldtoarmenians]

"No, scarily enough, I follow that logic. Mostly because I come out looking normal by it. I think." Xander counted on his fingers.

[fates_jaye]

"Do I ask why you need to count for this?"

[soldtoarmenians]

"I have issues with keeping track of double-negatives. Also with those story problems about trains, but I can't do those on my fingers."

[fates_jaye]

"Well, I'm pretty sure those story problems are like, a whole other level of Dante's inferno."

[soldtoarmenians]

"You're not kidding. Right next to the one where the President's on every channel. Forever."
