Second floor common room, Tuesday evening

There's nothing to do, so Jaye wanders to the second floor, kicks her feet up on the coffee table, and waits for someone to entertain her.

And someone had better entertain her. Preferrably with antics.

"I had a medical in Colorado," Elizabeth shrugged.

"There are funner things," she says. "Everything okay?"

"I got Thai too. For the first time in years. Which was good."

Elizabeth shrugs. "As far as they can tell, yes."

"Good," she says, not sure what to say. "So's Thai."

Elizabeth nods. "I hadn't had it in a couple of years before this weekend, not since I lived in DC. Which, ironically, I could have gone to that Thai restaurant yesterday."

"It was really good Thai. Went there yesterday," she says.
