Second floor common room, Tuesday evening

There's nothing to do, so Jaye wanders to the second floor, kicks her feet up on the coffee table, and waits for someone to entertain her.

And someone had better entertain her. Preferrably with antics.

"Oh, dear God." Archie shook his head, his lips twitching with amusement. "What did she do this time?"

"Nothing *yet*. Except get him to promise to find embarassing childhood pictures of me, and possibly plot a bank heist. Have I mentioned that Jarod likes to torment me?" Parker pouted. "He doesn't need help!"

"And Jaye takes such delight in tormenting others," Archie agreed, then froze. "A bank heist?"

"I'm pretty sure she was joking." Parker's lips twitched. "Except I wouldn't put it past Jarod to plan one."

"Oh, God. In that case I can only hope she wasn't too persuasive this time."

"I think it depends on how bored Jarod gets." Parker looked meditative. "I should figure out some way to torture him long-distance. Keep him occupied." She grimaced. "Nothing is coming to mind. Think you could distract Jaye sufficiently?" She grinned.

"I could try," he replied. "I can make no guarantees, but for you it oughtn't be a hardship to try."

Parker smiled and did the hair-flip thing. "That's all I can ask, Lieutenant. And you know how grateful I'd be, if I didn't have to bail my friend out of jail."

Parker caught the kiss and mimed eating it, then looked wary as Alanna came in. "Oh, damn. I'll talk to you later, Lieutenant. I have a timebomb to defuse. Excuse me."
