Second floor common room, Tuesday evening

There's nothing to do, so Jaye wanders to the second floor, kicks her feet up on the coffee table, and waits for someone to entertain her.

And someone had better entertain her. Preferrably with antics.

Marty gives Angela a haunted look and rubs his head "A Sparkly pony distraction would be good."

Angela shrugged. "I told a bad joke and Xander told a good one," she told him. "I might be able to remember Xander's. Maybe."

Marty gives Angela a small smile. "Tell me the joke."

Because she loves him, Angela does her best to tell CXander's entire long-ass joke.

She looks at him hopefully when she's done. "Did that help? Like, at all?"

Marty's face breaks into a small grin and he manages a chuckle. He leans in and kisses Angela on the forehead. "Thanks. I needed that."

"At least I did one good thing today," she told him, then stood. "I think it's my bedtime if I want to be semi-awake for math tomorrow. Do you want to walk with me all the way up to three?"
