2nd Floor Common Room, Afternoon into Evening

Vala has no classes today, but hanging out in the room alone is just too depressing. And she could hear Cam in the TA lounge when she swung by. Plus at lunch she stopped by Dewey's office and found out she somehow got cast in the damned school play. As if her Crissmass solo wasn't enough.

Not having managed to run into Rory, Cordelia, or Jake yet today, she's given up and flopped down on the common room couch to watch Classic Galaxy Quest reruns while she waits for the new ep of Spooky Things to come on.

Come. Feed her. Entertain her. Get snarked at by her. It's a crapshoot, really....

It takes a second for Vala to process that one. "What, do you and Anders live under a rock? A very cute rock?" She glares. "Cam and I broke up last week, thanks for caring."

Vala might be a bit stressed and emotional at the moment.

"Oh frak," Cally covers her mouth. "I'm so sorry. And... yes we do?" She hopes making herself look dumb might give Vala some sort of comfort or something. It's not exactly the best logic, but it's what she was born with.

"Whatever," Vala decides, slumping back down on the couch, grabbing the remote, and flipping to a Bitterwoman rerun instead. Just because she can.

Vala sighed. "Nah, I'm not feeling very girly tonight. Thanks for offering though." She grimaced. "Sorry I snapped at you."

"S'okay," Cally says with a shrug. "Anders and I kinda do live under a rock." Cally scratches the back of her neck and starts backing towards the door. "Well, I'll leave you with the TV, I guess. Don't wanna say anything stupider or something."
