Rory lounged on a couch in the common room, watching The Sampsons and giggling intermittently.

Vladdie, on the other hand, was busy nosing a ball back and forth across the floor, concentrating diligently.

Logan stared. "Holy Christ on a rope," he said.

Rory wiggled her fingers.

"It seems fine."

So, naturally, she gave a quick pull on her wrist, and detached the arm again.

Logan gagged. "Oh god," he said, putting his hand over his mouth. "That's sick."

"That's bizarre," Rory said, also looking nauseous. "And I don't get it. What the fuck happened to me?"

"Did you eat the cafeteria food?" Logan asked.

"No," Rory said, shaking her head and reattaching her arm. "Just coffee and Marty's pizza."

And then because she's sometimes morbidly curious, she tried the other arm. With success.

"GAH! Don't do that! Please!" Broots felt all of the pizza coming right back up.

"And while we're at it, can we please do something about what is happening on the TV?" Cordy pleaded.

Except, she does it with a British accent. A perfect one.

Broots glanced back at the TV, felt a lurch in his stomach and glanced around the room for the nearest exit. "Hey, wait, why'd you grow an accent?" In times of panic, focus on ... something random.

"I don't have an accent," she yelled, slightly hysterical at this point.

Then she realized she did. "Um?"

Broots blinked and gripped at J.C.

Parker is about ready to punch the set, but the accent distracts her. "Chase? What the hell's up with the Queen Mother voice?"

"I can't help it!" she yelps, flailing!

"I turned into a Brit! Oh my god, I'm Giles!"

Parker palmed her face. "Oh, fabulous. Does anyone else sense bad mojo gone spectacularly bizarre?"

Cordy glared over at the pizza boxes. "Okay, Rory and I both had the pizza. Not good." She paused. "Man, this accent is distracting!"

"Are you makin' fun of the way I talk?" Except for that Zero really sounds nothing like Cordy-the-Brit.

"No!" Cordy squeals, in a British-type fashion. "I can't help it! I think I've been drugged!"

Parker's eyes got big again. Yeah, she'd heard that right. "Rory, you're swearing. And going to pieces. Cut it out. Now!"

"Literally," Rory said, curiously pulling at her left leg.

"Don't do that! Christ, it's worse than the porn!" Parker *did* gag this time. "What if it doesn't re-attach this time?"

Broots was doing his best not to burst out into hysterics. Really. This is his best. The screaming is just a method of relaxation.

And it's getting on Parker's last nerve. She walked over and slapped him, quick and sharp, although not that hard. "BROOTS! STOP PANICKING!"

"Denmark. Definetly Denmark. What language do they speak there? Danish?" Broots whimpered. "I"m not panicking. This is normal. Because you see, girls pull their legs off every single day!"

"Don't make me do that again, Broots." Parker's okay with the babbling. It's not like he makes sense with sub-processors and macros half the time anyway. "It's extreme. And disturbing. But it will stop. Eventually."

And if it doesn't, she'll just move off the island, thanks.

"Canada. They speak English their. And French. But mostly English. I actually know a couple French phrases." Babbling. Babbbling is good. Because when you babble? You don't really think.
