Gym, Thursday After lunch

Pip was engaging in some shadow boxing and form work in the gym, a pair of rubber gloves over his hands.

He was still covered in glitter.

Veronica nodded and removed her own shoes before attempting to imitate Pip.

She failed miserably, however, losing her balance and falling over.

With a sigh, she stood up and asked, "What did I do wrong?"

"Well, part of it's your stance. Which we'll work on when I can touch you without covering you in glitter. For now? Bend your knee and try to work on your blaance. Actually, for now, don't kick at all, just try to work on your balance on one leg."

He stood on one leg to demonstrate.

She mimicked his stance.

Unfortunately, the Nyquil fumes apparently effected her sense of balance, because she wobbled, tried to compensate by leaning the other way, and fell over.

Right into Pip.

Who was covered with glitter.

And she was still sticky.

Pip thudded to the mat, Veronica falling on top of him. The mat was instantly covered in glitter. As was Veronica, as well as any clothing that touched Pip's skin.

"One of those days," Pip said, sighing.

Veronica looked down at herself covered in glitter. It wasn't like she could even take a shower to get it off.

"Maybe we should skip lessons today," she suggested. "Or until, you know, we have this glitter and Nyquil thing kicked."

Pip grimaced. "Yeah, I think that might be a good idea. You wanna get up first? Anything I'm touch is liable to get really sparkly."

"Well, it's a bit late for that," she said, standing up and looking at herself more. Yep. She was definitely sticky and glittery now. What more fun could she have today?

"Sorry I knocked you over," she apologized.

"It's alright," Pip said, trying to get to his feet without touching the mat again. "Nyquill's powerful stuff." He looked around at the mat. "Wanna just leave the mat as is? I'm not sure either of us are in any condition to clean."

"I think we're going to have to," she said ruefully, looking at the mess.

"Call me if you find out anything about what caused you to start spontaneously spewing glitter?"

Pip nodded. "Will do. From my very glittery phone."
