Second floor common room, Thursday night

Jaye is standing in the common room. Just standing at the moment.

Occasionally she'll do something like jump in place or attempt to juggle to see if that makes her stick to the ceiling. So far, no luck.

Angela rubbed her temples. "Okay, given that I spent this morning watching Rory remove and replace her limbs? I'm going to guess you mean literally."

"Was it fun?"

"No. I fell down. It hurt," she says.

[chasingangela]

"Oh," Angela said. "....Sorry?"

[fates_jaye]

"Have you done anything weird?" Jaye asks.

[chasingangela]

Angela shook her head. "Not yet. I mean, I watched Rory pull her arms and legs off, but I'm fine." She looked suspiciously at Jaye. "You aren't in the play, are you?"

[fates_jaye]

"No," says Jaye quickly and emphatically. "I take blame for any jazz hands that happen, but I am staying safely in the audience for this one. Why, are you?"

[chasingangela]

"No," Angela said, emphatically. "I'll help paint scenery or something if Rory makes me, but I don't do well onstage."

"It's just, Rory thought it was 'cause she and Cordy are directing, so I wondered if maybe it was like that episode of Wendy the Werewolf Stalker where the wizard curses everybody to get a spot in the show choir. Only with a play and weirder curses."

"Well, I was there..." she says. "I hope not. I don't need curses. More of them, or whatever."

[chasingangela]

"Me either," Angela said. "I hope I remain powers-free."

"So could you walk on the ceiliong, and stuff?"

[fates_jaye]

"No. I stopped moving and fell down. So maybe I could walk, but I was kind of flailing at, you know, being on the ceiling."

[chasingangela]

"Yeah, you'd kind of need to flail," Angela agreed. "How did you get up there?"

[fates_jaye]

"I was walking around or something," she says. "And hello ceiling."

[chasingangela]

"That's bizarre," Angela said, almost cheerfully.

Then, with a shift in her tone as if remembering something: "Um. I'm sorry about Archie."

[fates_jaye]

"Oh," she says, and shrugs a little. "Thanks. It's better this way, I think."
