Bel raced through the dorm hallways, the Moral Bot in hot pursuit. It kept pace with him, reciting its programmed phrases, and whenever Bel tried to stop and kick it, hit it with a fireball, anything, it would dodge out of the way and shoot him with more glitter. It even managed to swiftly climb stairs.

Bel was going to kill whoever was responsible for this.

Nadia huffed, her annoyance suddenly overcoming her every ounce of good sense. "Don't treat me like a kid!"

Marty jabbed a thumb in Bel's general direction. "Don't be stupid. Get out of here before he changes his mind."

Nadia leveled a glare at Marty, but did, fortunately, take his advice. Her escape down the stairs was a little bit more of an angry flounce than anything even remotely stealthy or dignified.
