Second Floor Hallway

Rory, in the midst of trying to put up shelves by holding one arm with the other, got a desperately woe-inducing phone call.

She wandered out into the hallway. "Um. Anyone want to go to a fish funeral?" she called, reattaching her arm.

[ooc: Seriously, there will be a memorial for RT. Feel free to tag along, omg.]

ETA: And fishie doom continues HERE.

Sam stuck her head out of her room. "What did you just ask?"

[identity profile] krycek-rat.livejournal.com 2006-02-25 12:44 am (UTC)(link)
"Seriously? Pet fish? Or did someone turn into a fish and subsequently die from lack of immediate water?"

[identity profile] krycek-rat.livejournal.com 2006-02-25 12:46 am (UTC)(link)
"Okay," Krycek said, shrugging. "Something to do, anyway."

"Do we need to dress up?"

"Um? Rory? Did you just ask about a 'fish funeral'?" Elizabeth asked.

"Okay," Elizabeth replied. She looked down at her jeans. "Should I be wearing black?"

"Funeral?" Bridge said, poking his head out of his room. "What?"

[identity profile] bridge-carson.livejournal.com 2006-02-25 01:04 am (UTC)(link)
"Woe," Bridge said. "I'll come with."

Walter let Pup drag him onto the second floor in time to hear the announcement.

A fish funeral? Wasn't that usually called dinner?

Fortunately, he had the tact not to ask that aloud.

[identity profile] walter-n-wires.livejournal.com 2006-02-25 01:10 am (UTC)(link)
That didn't sound much like dinner.

Pup wandered over and sniffed Rory's feet before looking up at her and wagging furiously.

"I suppose so. To support the professor in his time of grief and all that," Walter said dubiously.

Making one of his periodic escapes, Cam-Mollusc rolled out of an air vent.

Cam-Mollusc sploshed in his squid-ball.

Faithful purred. "Can we eat the dearly departed?" From somewhere behind a corner, Alanna's voice rang out. "Faithful!"

[identity profile] threeweapons.livejournal.com 2006-02-25 01:19 am (UTC)(link)
Faithful blinked at Rory. "Fish die. At least like this, I get something good out of it." Alanna made her way over to Faithful. "No eating the dead fish! Bad talking cat! Hey Rory, what's with the falling apart thing?"

Jaye? Randomly happens to be on the second floor. This sort of thing happens. "Fish funeral?" she asks.

"Oh, no," says Jaye, and blinks. Because she's mourning a fish. Whatever, it's Professor Mr. The Tick's fish. "Was it sudden?"
