Second Floor Common Room - RT's Wake

Rory made her way up from the memorial and found a Jacques Cousteau documentary on the television.

She solemnly began to watch, attempting to feel actual sorrow over a fish.

It didn't quite take.

"I haven't met the scary mute ninja." Although he had met that nice rollerskating girl in the park, but that couldn't be the same person. "But I've been recently educated that ninjas and pirates are taboo, so I think you were doing something valuable. Besides, some ninja-love might have helped Smith's temperament."

"It didn't. It made him pissier. Trust me," she nods. "But he's gone now, and this principal might be open to jazz hands."

"Nothing seems to get to this principal. Trust me, I've tried." Walter shook his head at Dewey's imperviousness to pranks.

Jaye thinks about it. "I'm sure there's some way."

"Hm. Well, I could fill his office with cooked spaghetti, but I prefer not to pull pranks I'm not willing to clean up after afterwards." He shrugged and smirked at Jaye. "Do you know anyone who deserves a bathtub, bed, or closet full of cooked spaghetti?"

"Deserves, no," Jaye says. "Though I could pull some names from a hat anyway."

"Well, if I find out that there is a person behind my shooting spaghetti from my fingertips, he or she goes to the top of the list."

He shook his head and shrugged, "I prefer to prank the deserving. Or at least help others with pranking those they think are deserving."

"I'm so putting your number in my cell phone," she says. "Eventually, someone will deserve it and I'll remember this."

"Having fun?" Victor asked, interjecting in ther conversation.

"Yes. Just talking to Jaye about Smith and pranks and the deserving. I'm not very good at the mourning part of a wake."

"Yeah, well I feel like shit. You know what happened right after the service? I had to go to the bathroom! So I'm up in ~~our~~ my room, trying to..y'know..go...and I kept thinking about the fish and the flushing and where it was now and I couldn't go!"

Jaye just blinks. A lot.

Walter on the other hand, snickers. A lot. He has a great boyfriend, but he has the occasional weird moment. This would be one of them.

"But finally I was able to calm down and go, so now I'm cool." He breathed a sigh of relief, then remembered that Jay was there. "Oh...um, hi..."

"Feeling better than at lunchtime?" Walter asked, still trying not to snicker too much at Victor's plight.

Victor blushed and looked at the floor. "Not at the moment, no."

Walter hooked an arm through Victor's and gave it a little tug. "We can't have that. What would make you feel better?"

"Go back in time and stop me from saying all that in public," he answered, still blushing.

Hell, they were in the middle of boykissy worship central. If they attracted attention, it wouldn't be the popcorn throwing kind. He hoped.

Walter leaned over and gave Victor as thorough a kiss as he could for the circumstances.

Victor was so surprised that he almost pulled away, but there was no way that he was going to abck away from making out with Walter in public. So, he kissed back, placing his hands gently on Walter's shoulders.

Right. A kiss he could do. It was going to take more than that for a full makeout session in the middle of the common room - likely alcohol or some of Empire's brownies, neither of which were in his system.

After ensuring that Victor wasn't thinking about anything else, Walter slowly pulled away and smiled smugly at his boyfriend.

"Feeling better now?"

Victor had to blink a few times to clear the spots from his vision, and leaned on Walter a little for balance. "Oooh yeah..."

Finally, the light-headed feeling went away, and he smiled at his boyfriend. "Much better."

Now it was Victor's turn to snicker. "Oh come on, Walter," he said in a low tone. He gently elbowed Walter in the ribs and said, "You act like you haven't seen naked guys before."

"On the telly? No!" Walter stared at the television and made a face when pink rabbits came on instead. He wasn't suppressing a cheer when it went back to naked men, either.
