2nd Floor Common Room - Saturday Morning

Logan sat on the couch eating Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs and watching cartoons. Multiple boxes of different sugar-coated cereal were on the kitchen counter and there was milk in the fridge, if anyone wanted to join him.

"Well I've seen you around, but the fact that Anders is here is the deciding factor," Isabel grinned. "I'm sorry I didn't make you birthday party by the way. I got caught up getting ready for game night and never had a chance to come down."

"Oh, that's no biggie. I kinda wasn't expecting a party at all, so it's okay that folks didn't make it. I was kinda hoping it would be a kinda quiet night, really," Cally says. "So, Isabel, huh? Where you from?"

"I'm from Roswell, New Mexico. That's little town out in the desert in the Southwest," Isabel explained. "I love it but I wanted to get away for a while, so now I'm here."

"Nothing particular, that was just the name they settled on when the Americans captured the area from Mexico the country. I know some people don't like it, but I do love the desert. When you go out and the sky's overhead, it's so blue..." She looked down, "Sorry, sometimes I get a bit homesick."

"Not bad at all," Isabel agreed. "I think I'll be sticking around. Going home means dealing with my brother and I'm just not up to that. Since I am going to be sticking around, I asked at Student Council if I could organize a trip up to Baltimore. There's supposed to be a great Aquarium and a lot of fun stuff to do up there. Maybe you guys can come along."

"Great. There'll be a sign-up sheet up next week definitly sign up if you want to go. It'll be fun."

Isabel scrambled out of the way as Jake flopped down (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhighdorms/482966.html?thread=22934678#t22934678). "Okay, I'll take that as a sign to get movie. We're going to be watching some cute movies upstairs later this afternoon if you want to come up to the fourth floor."
