Gym, morning until lunch

So he didn't go insane from the meditation thing this morning. Sitting still and listening to new age however had made him very restless and Cameron throws himself with extra enthusiasm into his excercises. Weights go first to toughen up his shoulder.

He laughed and ducked as she hit him. "Come on, it's got to be fun to go down the stairs like that!"

"I haven't tried, and I don't plan on doing so," she said as she climbed on and programmed the machine. "Thank god it only seems to happen if I sit down or lay down. So I'm doing a lot of standing."

"Okay," Cameron said slowly and moved to the trainer she was working out on. "I'm sure it sucks a whole lot and I'm sorry for laughing. It's just kinda cute."

"Puppies are cute. Cuddly kittens are cute. This is not cute," she said, but she might have cracked a very tiny smile.

"I'm sure it does," she said, finally laughing. "Oh, did you know that the little robot in the common room last night gave me a picture of you?"

"So that's where he ran off with it?" Cameron grinned and shook his head. "Nope, but he gave me one of Jaye and then of Molly too."

"Actually it gave me quite a collection, one of Peter, of Rory, of Xander. I'm glad, I didn't have any pictures of anyone," she said. "I saw the initials on it. I take it that it belongs to John?"

"Initials?" Cameron hadn't noticed. "Yeah, it's Bertram. Aeryn gave it to him for Christmas," he said, grin disappearing.

"JC + AS," she said. And then frowned when she saw Cam's grin disappear. "It's cute. I take it it's somewhat aware?"

"I think so? I don't know," Cameron shrugged. "Aeryn said something about them normally working on board a spaceship and they fix things."

"Neat," she said. "I wonder if it could be reprogrammed to clean the house. I'm sure my mom would love it."

"So," she asked innocently. "How was the rest of your weekend? I watched movies Saturday night, and hung out with Parker for a while yesterday afternoon. It was pretty relaxing overall."

"I don't think John's going to give Bertram up any time soon," Cameron replied.

"Sounds like fun. I had to work this weekend," he said.

The trainer hit one of the more strenuous patches so she concentrated on that for a minute, finding her rhythm. "I know, I heard."

Isabel shook her head. "Cam, I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this, but your name, Jaye's name, and the words hot and heavy were all used in the same sentence. Apparently you had a much more interesting weekend then the rest of us."
