Third Floor Common Room - Wednesday Evening

It was almost showtime, and the stage was set. The chairs and sofas had been arranged to all face the television, and the VCR was on and ready to roll. The room even smelled faintly like apple cinnamon, thanks to some thoughtful person who had placed air fresheners around the room.

On the wall, there was a sign:

Come and sit!
The video will be showing shortly!

And Victor was nowhere to be found.

Alphonse was heading for his room when from the corner of his eye, noticed the common room was rearranged differently. He looked up from the book he was reading (and was nearly done with it, too! Would he ever beat his record of eight minutes from earlier that day?) and quirked an eyebrow.

He did see the posters, saw the sign, and remembered something: Victor was the one who taped the video. If Victor was involved, there was no doubt in his mind Walter had some sort of role in this. Knowing this much, Alphonse debated on whether he really wanted to risk being dragged into whatever it was they had planned or not.

5:00 PM - Video!

The TV screen suddenly flickers, and Victor appears on the screen.

"Hey all, it's Victor. Some of you might be wondering just what the heck's going on here. Well, do you remember the radio broadcast last week about Belthazor and that robot that shot glitter at him? Did you say to yourself, "Self, I really wish I had been there!"? WEll, now you can. Here's footage, shot by me, of the main event. Enjoy!"

The shot of Victor fades and is replaced with a black background with the Phrase "Belthazor Versus Morality" before the footage begins.

5:05 PM - What the...?

As The camara zooms on Bel running to the stairs, the screen fades and Victor appears again.

"I hope that you enjoyed our presentation tonight. As an added bonus, let me give you a parting gift."

Then the tape ends, and a a series of dings is heard from the air fresheners. Seconds later, glitter begins to spray into the common room, dousing everyone and everything within it with sparkles.

After everyone had left, Victor came in with the vaccum-bot he had borrowed from Agatha and began to clean up the mess. He didn't stop until all the glitter was taken care of.
