2nd Floor Common Room [Tuesday evening]

After making sure that Furrball had enough food and checking in briefly with Old Man, Molly went down to the second floor common room to see if anyone was about. Finding no one there, she plopped down on one of the couches and turned on the TV. Others would show up eventually.

Frustrated that the first paragraph of his letter still didn't sound quite right, Cameron wandered into the common room. "Yo," he yawned and motioned for Molly to make room in the couch.

"Hey, Cam," she said and scooted over so that he could sit down. "Anything going on down here tonight?"

"Nope. Nothing," he plopped down beside her and stared at the television. "It's like the craziness that is Fandom crawled into the suitcases and went to London. I think anyway, I have no clue what people in London are up to."

Molly grinned. "Maybe the craziness that is Fandom is on spring break too."

"Nope, I highly suspect it's remote controlled by someone rich and powerful like Parkie and so she took it with her when she left the country. Soon we're going to hear about London being invaded by aliens with nine tentacles who burp to Dean Martin in the streets," he said seriously.

Molly started giggling as she pictured all of this and it was a while before she could stop.

"They'd better bring back some interesting pictures then," she said when she finally stopped giggling.

He grinned. "Jaye's bound to have a few," he agreed. "Although, now I feel like we should make sure we have as well."

"We need to have pictures to show them when they come back?" she asked with a grin. "We could take pictures of all the empty common rooms. Either that or get everyone who is here together and fake a bunch of exciting ones."

Cameron snorted. "Now that could be interesting if we get people to dress up."

Molly started giggling again. "How would we make people dress up? I mean, as what?"

"Uh the crazier the better? Space pirates? Mutant lizards? Freggles?"

Molly burst out laughing. "I don't think you could get Aeryn to agree to dress up as a Mutant Lizard."

He smirked. "Probably not, but it might be interesting watching her reaction when you suggest it."

"Me!" Molly said in surprised shock. "It was your idea. You ask her."

"I was totally going to offer her the position of Captain Space Pirate," Cameron objected. "You want her to be a mutant lizard, you get to ask her."

Molly laughed again. "How 'bout we make it the Captain of the Mutant Lizard Space Pirates and we both ask her?"

"Hmmm, possibly." He snickered.

Aeryn's only passing through the common room on her way in from a walk, and is really relieved it's only Molly and Cameron so far. Too bad she hasn't gotten the hang of initiating hellos again yet.

"Yo!" Cameron was still snickering as Aeryn entered. "Molly's got to ask you something."

Molly is still laughing. "No! Cam does!"

"Nah huh, you do." Cameron argued.

"Okay, someone needs to ask," says Aeryn, who knows from experience how long an argument like this with Cameron can go on

Molly is still fighting the giggles. "Cam wants to know if you will dress up like the Captain of the Mutant Lizard Space Pirates so that we can take pictures to show everybody who went on the trip how exciting it was here over break."

Aeryn stares at her.

And then turns and stares at Cameron.

"Dude, I was so going to suggest you dress up as Space Pirate but Molly is being insistant on the mutant lizard thing," Cameron quickly blurts out.

"Mutant Lizards can be space pirates too, Cam. Don't be discriminatory," Molly told him with mock severity. The continued giggling probably ruined the effect though.

He knew that this probably could get him killed, but Molly laughing was too much and he fell back in the couch, snickering as well.

Aeryn's still staring.

This would be because there are no words.

As Molly still seems to be out of it, Cameron tries to look serious. "Come on, it would be fun. Eye patches are cool," he snorts and can't help but laugh again.

"Is there some sort of gas leak?" Aeryn wonders.

Molly is still giggling off and on, but she has stopped enough that she can talk again. "No. I don't think there's a gas leak. Why?"

"...No reason," she answers.

Cameron's looking around for a canary that might have fainted.

Molly sighed as the giggles finally died down. "Cam was saying that he thought the craziness that is Fandom went to London in everyone's luggage and then we decided that we should fake pictures to show them how exciting it was here without them. That is when Cam," she reached over and shoved him lightly on the shoulder, "suggested having everyone dress up," she explained.

Aeryn nods at this, letting it sink in. "As mutant pirates."

"No," Cameron poked Molly. "I suggested Mutant lizards and Space pirates and freggles. Molly wanted to combine the lizards and pirates, which I don't think makes sense because how do you get your tail in a space suit?"

"Duh," Molly said. "You make a special suit with room for the tail."

"They have spacesuits specifically made for species with tails," she says, looking a little confused.

Cameron stared at her. "You know species with tails?"

"Not a lot from personal experience, but they exist," she shrugs.

"Okay, fine. You can be Mutant Lizard Space Pirate," Cameron relents.

Molly just burst out laughing again.

"I don't think that's going to be happening," Aeryn says.

"Awww, come on?" Cameron's actually pouting. "You can be just the lizard without the pirate stuff?"

"No. No lizard," she says. And really, she's going to have to insist on that.

"Okay," Molly said. "Will you help us convince other people to do it though?" And now it is her turn to pout at Aeryn.

Like pouts work on Aeryn. "Something tells me you'll have a better time of that than I will," she says.
