Second Floor Common Room, Friday Morning
Maybe it's because he managed to put the computer together yesterday and nothing blew up, and it seems to be running fine so far. For whatever ultimate reason, Anders is here in the kitchen area of the common room with bowls, a mixer, a spatula, and today a frying pan. And yes, he's still toting around that fire extinguisher.
He's attempting pancakes this morning. If all goes well, he might even share. And he likes his pancakes very generously covered with butter and syrup, so they'll be sticky. And buttery. Extra buttery.*fingerwiggle* buttery, even.
If.
He's feeling a little more confident about it now; not to say he isn't nervous about trying something that takes a little more work than cupcakes, but hey, at least he's not staring at the box of pancake mix like it's going to bite his head off.

He taps a finger quickly against the edge of the frying pan and decides it needs a few more minutes to heat up enough, which is just as well since the batter's not ready to go yet.

He totally fingerwiggles when he says it, too.

Okay, so the first pancake is a little bit
sho toashty, yeshcrispy when it comes out of the pan, but with enough butter and syrup it'll be fine. And hey, the next three even come out just about perfect. He eyes the stack. "Those are yours if you want 'em, dude."no subject

He eyes the stack of pancakes, which is sort of growing at a scary rate. "You want more, dude?"

He frowns. "I feel all domestic. Like I should be wearing an apron or something."

"...I have nothing to say to that."

And then Anders elaborated (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhighdorms/501514.html?thread=24057354#t24057354). Yay.
