Pippi really wanted to go to the Kwik Stop for a cherry squishy.

That so wasn't happening.

Instead, she's lounging on the edge of the roof looking up at the sky, and listening to her Butler Fetish CD.

A super ball bounced across the roof toward Pippi. It would quite likely land on her if she didn't catch it.

She looked over to see where it came from.

"Hey."

"Hey." Walter went to join her on the edge of the roof, standing on his tiptoes on the very edge and grinning downward.

"Everyone seems very subdued. How are you feeling today?"

"There's no fairy in my head." she said with a small smile.

"I don't like not being in crontrol of my body. It's not safe for people."

"I am very happy there's no fairy in your head. No offense to you, but she was quite a bitch." He gave her a broader smile. "Which is, of course, how I knew it wasn't you."

Pippi chuckled, "She would disagree, I'm sure." she said with an almost evil grin.

"Would you like to hear how little I care about her opinion?" Walter shook his head and sat down to dangle his feet. "Did she give you any more trouble after intermission?"

"She made the occasional snarky comment, but she was to scared by Crawley and Professer Dream to come out..."

"Good. It could have been worse. She could have been the same bitch, but with a speech impediment like Pip's fairy's."

Pippi pushed away the idea that it could have easily been worse.

"You should have talked to the one that was in Thane MacBeth." she said. "I'm sure she thought that was a French accent."

Walter pulled out a cigarette and shifted to sit on the other side of Pippi to blow the smoke away from her. "I heard her? accent. It was... interesting. Did she treat him poorly? Is he alright?"

"He didn't seem very happy this morning when I talked to him. But she was much less... Malevolent, then mine... Mine convinced his and Hamlet's to... trade pants."

"That doesn't sound too terrible. Why did your fairy want them to trade pants?"

"The one in Thane was unhappy wearing a kilt, and the one in Hamlet was unhappy in pants." she explained. "Mine thought and rightly so that kilts were sexy."

Walter thought she probably had a point. "That doesn't sound too bad. Especially considering some of the other things that were happening on the stage. I have a recording if you missed any of it.

"And the fairies let everyone go when the curtain dropped?"

"Yup. They had no choice. They don't live here any more. She's gone. Thank goodness..."

"Good!" Walter grinned and nudged her with an elbow. "What sort of fun should we find this week?"

"Hmmm." she hmmmed as she considered her options. "Not a lot of people around worth pranking quite frankly... We could camp out over night at some point this week."

"Mac and Xander are on Nadia's list, but camping sounds like fun. We can stay up late around a campfire and tell ghost stories." What could possibly go wrong?

Walter cocked his head to listen. "Maybe something off the water."

He thought about his schedule. "I work Tuesday and Thursday. So, we could do it Wednesday, or wait for next Friday."

"Wednesday would be great!" she said. "But maybe to soon for other people? Who shall we take with us?"

"Victor, if I can get him to stay awake long enough. Pip and Nadia, of course says he, unaware of events later in the evening. Do we want to invite some of the other freshmen? Underclassman bonding and all that rot?"

"That would be cool, but take some planning." she said. "Let's keep it smallish for this week and I'll bring it up at the next StuCo meeting if it goes well."

"Good thinking. I'll treat you all to beans on toast. Good camping food. So Victor, Pip, and Nadia? I'll let Victor know. If you tell Nadia, whichever of us bumps into Pip first can invite him along."

"Right oh!" she said. "I'll stop by All and Sundries and see about a tent."

Walter assumed they'd be going with something a bit less extravagant than his last tent adventure.

"That sounds like a plan. This will be fun!" Grinning, he hopped up. "I should get some sleep. I'll see you tomorrow."
