3rd floor common room, Saturday brunchtime
Walter was hungry and itchy. So he was cooking mass quantities to deal with one and distract from the other. More food than even his appetite could accommodate. Eggs benedict, bacon, fresh fruit, and he's doing something ridiculous with pastry dough. Nobody makes croissants themselves other than the mun, do they?
He hummed something to himself that someone who could interpret for the largely tone deaf might be able to tell was a Cole Porter tune. Pup was playing fetch with an irritable blue plant, bringing it a rubber ball, which the plant hit to various parts of the room with its clubby stalks.

"Hey, Walter," he said when he saw his boyfriend hard at work. He looped his towel over his shoulder and gave Walter a kiss on the cheek. "How are you?"

But they were in public, so he grinned back and said, "Sure. I'll be back in a bit." he kissed Walter agian, this time on the lips, then walked off to go take a shower.

He went back to rolling out the croissant dough before putting everything in the refrigerator to chill and rise.

She could smell food dammit, and she was going to find said food. She'd worry about waking up completely once she'd eaten something.
She made it to the third floor and brightened. Food!
Oh, but dilema: it was Walter's food. Which meant that Victor was probably about somewhere. In her half-awake state, she stood in the doorway to the common room, wavering between food! and run away!

"Food!" he said, waving a spatula at her and smiling. "Come have some."

Then run away!
Nadia grunted something largely unintelligible that may or may not have been in English and wandered over towards the food.

She might have managed a touch more eloquence if she were speaking Spanish, but Walter had probably had enough of her babbling at him in a language he didn't, apparently speak. So caveman English it was.

Then she remembered that Pippi might be mad at her and carefully refocused on her plate.

Walter waved a hand toward the food. "So shut up and eat."
