All in all, it might not be the smartest to hide from someone in the place you always end meeting p. Then again, Cameron really isn't hiding at all. Nope. Not at all. No way, no how.

The gym? Is the worst place in Fandom to hide.

So, oh, look, it's a total surprise when Aeryn happens to show up. And gives Cam a little smile and heads straight to the machines.

"Yo," Cameron says, totally not sounding nervous or anything. He didn't do anything wrong, omg.

"Hi," she says back, adjusting the weight setting on the machine.

Cameron just nods and distracts himself by punching the bag.

Aeryn gets to work on her own thing. Not saying a thing. Not a word.

"So..." Cameron says after a while. "How's things?"

"Good," she says. "You?"

"Smurfy," he says and then bites the bullet. "You wanted to talk?"

"How long has this been going on?" Aeryn wonders, because it kind of stings that she didn't know.

Funny how he doesn't have to aks what she means. "That kinda depends," he says as he stops punching the bag.

There's really no way to not make this sound a little bit bad. "On whether or not you think a fling counts as something going on or not."

After Speech, Isabel headed down to the gym. She stretched out for a few minutes and then headed to the trainer.

"Yo," Cameron said from where he was now back to weight lifting.

"Hey," Isabel said as she programmed the machine. "Haven't seen you around much."

"Nope, been busy." He paused. "Sounded like you were too."

"It's been a bit crazy." She looked down and studied the display. "You heard the radio." And it wasn't really a question.

"Yeah," he continued with the weight lifting.

Isabel looked over and watched as he lifted weights, smiling a bit when she caught sight of the faint red writing. "So you had a run-in with the crayon as well?"

Cameron would scowl at the words on his forehead, but as that wasn't possible, he just scowled. "Yeah."

"It tried to get me as well. I blew it up," she said. "Unfortunately it must have been a magical crayon, because it reformed and attacked again. So I blew it up again." She shook her head, "I think it realized the futility of trying to get me again and it left."

He stopped again and looked at her. "You blew it up?"
