Fifth floor common room, Sunday afternoon
Nadia had felt like a ghost, walking through town on her way back from visiting Bel. She didn't feel connected to Fandom, for some reason, or to the various NPC people she'd passed on the walk. The feeling hadn't faded when she'd gone into the dorms, either.
She stopped by her room to get a few small things to eat and check her voicemail. Damn. It seemed like there were still a lot of people worried about her.
She'd have to start talking to them, eventually, she supposed.
She plopped herself down on the common room couch, in an attempt at being normal and social, and turned on the TV.
Surprise, surprise, Bitterwoman was on.
[ooc: open to whoever, for all your common room needs.]

Bingo.
"Hey," she said cautiously, plopping down in a chair. She didn't knwo where to start with the bigstuff, so: "Which episode is this?"
no subject
Yeah, she had absolutely no idea what episode this was.

She shook her head. "I think they only had one script for this show."
no subject
See? She could do this. Normal conversation. No problem.
So what if she kept remembering Angela kissing that John kid?

She sat nervously for a moment. Then: "So did you talk to the guy at the record store? He sounded weirdly worried, Friday."

She tilted her head. "Did you just decide you didn't need a job anymore, or what?"
no subject
How the hell was she supposed to explain things to people? They'd probably lock her up, or something. They probably should, when she really thought about it.
"Do you know anything about dreams?"
no subject
"And not really, other than that I sometimes have some strange ones. How come?"

If she ever saw him again, and dear god, why was she thinking about marriage when that was still a question?
"Who was I married to?" she asked.

"I don't really know why I'm dreaming things, but I think, sometimes, they're true? I dreamed about Parker's mom, and a music box, and Parker knew what I was talking about even though she'd never mentioned it to me, before." She shrugged and hugged herself. "Sorry. Maybe I shouldn't be telling you this."
no subject
She gave Nadia a thoughtful look. "And I'm interested in this stuff. But that's weird. She found the music box, when we were in Delaware."
"Has Bridge Carson ever done his -" Angela wiggled her fingers "-thing, to see if you have any special powers?"

"Hey, Nadia. I think the lemurs took your guitar and amp and left them by my room. Want me to move them into there for ya?"
no subject
She'd completely forgotten about the guitar and the note and things.
"Y-yeah, o-okay. I was, um, wondering what happened. To the guitar." She glanced at Pip, trying to act casual
and most likely failing miserably. "There wasn't a . . . note, or anything, was there?"no subject
no subject
"No. Of course not. That'd be silly. Lemurs writing notes." She laughed. Probably a little lamely.

One of these days, Nadia would learn to shut her mouth and keep it that way.
"Yeah," she tried to laugh again. Didn't so much work. "I bet it does." She stared down at her lap.

"Because I put a note on the guitar when I put it outside your room on Thursday."
Hey, maybe if she said it quietly enough, he wouldn't hear her? And then it wouldn't be her fault if she didn't tell him, right?
Chyeah, right.
no subject
He walked into the room and sat down on the couch next to Nadia. "This, of course, begs the question of why you put the guitar outside my room on Thursday," he said, looking at her.
