Gym, early morning

Early night or not, Cameron was still tired and had woken up way too early. His room had felt too small, so he headed down to the gym. He ignored the punching bag, though, and settled for the tread mill and weight lifting machines.

Aeryn's not much for leaving John alone at the moment, but she assumes he's gone to his morning classes and is trying to go about things as semi-normal. So before class, she heads into the gym to hit something. That's normal.

"Hi," she says when she gets there, heading straight for the bag.

She smacks the bag. "Good weekend?" she asks.

She considers this, and answers, "That's a complicated question. I'm not sure how to answer it."

At first she almost asks him to clarify what that means, then realizes that she can kind of figure it out for herself and still don't know the answer. "I'm not sure where that is," she admits.

"Frell," she says, and hits the bag again. "I'm sure John'll be pleased to know it made the radio." Though the next time he starts dragging his feet, she's bringing this up to him. She knows ammunition when she sees it.

"Unless it's something that shouldn't exactly be brushed off," she counters, hitting the bag again. "I realize it's stupid to try and keep this quiet, but he doesn't, and he's the opinion that really counts." She pauses. "It isn't something that can be ignored."

She isn't sure how to answer that, considering John's insistence in not seeing a doctor. "We're working on that," she says. "We're not doing nothing, let's put it that way."

Isabel was up early. There was some time to spare before the bookstore opened so she headed down to the gym. A little time on the trainer would probably clear her head.

"Morning Cam," she said as she started to stretch.

She sat on the floor and reached down to grab her ankles, wincing at the pull in her calf muscles. "I haven't seen you around much. What have you been doing?"

"You've been busy," she said dryly. Feet sole to sole, she stretched out over her bent legs, pushing her knees down with her elbows and holding the position as she counted "One, two, three...ten. Should I ask for details? Or am I being nosy? But for what it's worth I'm sorry things didn't work out with Jaye."

"Well if you want to talk, I'll listen." She got to her feet and walked over to the trainer. "Otherwise I can give you a list of things I'd like for my birthday."

"Friday. I'll be seventeen." She shrugged, "Or at least that's what I'll be based on the birthday they gave when they found me."

"They found my brother and I wandering in the desert after we hatched. We looked like we were about six," she explained. "They thought we'd been abandoned."
