Basement Pool: Thurday after classes: Pool Party!

Various inflatable pool toys are scattered in the pool and around it.

There's a radio playing any number of random CDs provided by Pippi. So unless somebody else wants to bring some music there's an eclectic mix of Flogging Molly, Butler Fetish, The Ramones, and sea shanties blaring.

There's also a table chock full of foodstuffs.

Swim. Eat. Play.

Leave your emo at the door.

[[ooc: OCD threads going up.

Ivanova shrugged. "I'll have time to work on it this weekend. Which reminds me - did you get tickets yet?"

Pip nodded. "Yep. Cost an arm and a leg, but I have them. Are we going to want to go to dinner first? I remember hearing something about golf carts too..."

"I can pay you back as soon as I get my paycheck," she replied, shuddering a bit internally at how much of her cash reserve had gone into that dress. "Dinner sounds good. Anywhere but Ching Tai."

"Well, let's see... where else is there. There's Cafe Fina if I feel like having MPD, Luke's..."

"Luke's is fine," Ivanova replied taking pity, despite the fact that she loves playing with herselfomgnotdirty. "It doesn't have to be that fancy."

It's weird, I never have a chance for Alfred and Pip to interact

Pip shrugged. "We're already killing our bank accounts, might as well go the extra mile. Care to try the Cafe?"

"Why not?" Ivanova grinned. "If I'm not getting flowers, I might as well get a nice meal out of it," she teased lightly. She had taken the no-emo injunction very seriously. So was avoiding all non-guilt-guilt about the rebounding.

Pip nodded. "Exactly. After all, millitary people will take a good meal over anything. Army marches on its stomach, after all. The Navy probably sails on it as well."

Ivanova grinned. "Precisely. Although in EarthForce, it was a good meal and a real-water shower." She spread her arms in the water, doing a little turn. "You come to appreciate water very quickly."

Pip laughed. "Damn straight. I've been in the desert and I've fought in places where, after finally getting a shower, you lost twenty pounds in mud."

Ivanova chuckled. "One of the many perks of command - my quarters had one of two real-water showers on the entire station. I used it unscrupulously to pick up in the bars."
