All the packing was done, so she took a diet coke and went out to watch TV. The remote was on the table as she tried to pay attention to The March of the Penguins...but she fell asleep anyhow.

Getting used to the wee!students running around, she smiled brightly. "Hi sweetheart, what's your name?" she asked as she picked her up.

"I'm Lana, course," she said with a smile. "Here, hug Bear too!" And she held up a stuffed bear for hugging.

"Of course you are, Lana. I was being silly. Hello, Bear." she said with all seriousness, hugging the bear also. "What are you doing today, Lana? Having fun?"

"Mmmhmmm... I talked to the Blue Man and he hugged me and then the nice Pippi pirate made me breakfast and I hugged Phoebe and I'm a fairy princess." Lana nodded in a satisfied way. "And you're a pretty lady and I like you. And Bear likes you too."

"You are the most beautiful fairy princess I've ever seen, Lana. I like you and Bear too. Breakfast was a long time ago, are you hungry?"

Lana nodded. "My tummy is grumbly, but there's nobody to make me food. And I don't know where the pirate is. And my legs are tired from going up and down and up and down."

"Do you want a banana? I have a banana in my room. And maaaaybe..." she winked at her, "...I might even have some peanut butter and bread left. Want a sandwich?"

"Oh yes, yes, yes!" Lana clapped her hands in delight, almost losing Bear in the process. "Except... can I have the banana and the peanut butter samwich not with the banana in the samwich, 'cause I like them not together."

"We can do that, sweetie. Let's go." she said, offering her hand and leading the way to her room.

Lana took her hand and followed happily along, then stopped suddenly and tugged on CJ's hand. "Wait," she said and went back a few steps to put Bear down before coming back to CJ.

"I have to tell you a secret."

"Oh?" she said, kneeling down. "What is it, Lana?"

"Bear isn't 'xactly real," she said very seriously, "But he thinks he is, so he might want a samwich too, but you have to just make him a pretend one, 'cause he can't eat real ones. He'd get all peanut butter everywhere."

She nodded solemnly. "That's good to know. I make excellent pretend sandwiches and I'll make one just for him. But you?" she poked the end of Lana's nose, "You get a real one."

Lana giggled. "Okay, CJ. You're funny." She went back and retrieved Bear, then took CJ's hand again to go get some lunch.

She opened the door and handwavily fixed a quick meal fit for a wee!girl, and even dug out a bag of doritos.

"All set, Lana. All I have to drink is soda though. Do you want a soda?"

Lana wrinkled her nose. "I'm not really sposed to, but... is this a special 'casion? Cause if it is then soda's okay."

She smiled wider. "It's beautiful fairy princess day...didn't you know?" she said as she pulled out a coke for Lana. Not her kid...and she remembered the fun of giving Hogan a coke and turning her loose.

Ok, maybe CJ did have a little bit of evil in her.

Lana ate all of her samwich and the banana and gave careful pretend bites to Bear. When she was done she went over to CJ and gave her a slightly sticky hug. "I love you CJ. Are you a mommy? 'Cause you act like a real mommy."

"Not of any little kids. My kids are all grown up." she said, totally not getting weepy. "But thank you, that's a very nice thing for you to say. I lvoe you too, Lana." she said, hugging her back.

"I know you do," Lana said and then yawned and rubbed at her eyes. "Uh oh. I think it's time for my nap now. Me and Bear should go have our rest, don't you think?"

"That's a good idea. Why don't you go find your bed." she nodded, leading her out.

Lana reached up and gave her a sticky kiss on the cheek. "Thank you, CJ. I love you and Bear does too." She lifted Bear up so he could kiss CJ as well.

She couldn't stop a second yawn from coming. "Scuse me," she said politely before waving goodbye. "I'm going to miss you, CJ."

"I'll miss you too, Lana. Bye bye." she said, smiling after the drowsy little princess.
