Rory sat behind a table, yearbooks piled high on it.

Clearly, they're there for a purpose. She had a list, as well, of students, and was checking them off as people picked up their yearbooks.

[Headache of doom has subsided slightly - if you want interaction, that's cool. Just ping in the "Talk to Rory" thread. You can also just have your character pick up their book and OMG IGNORE HER, or handwave the whole thing. Oh - yearbooks are free, too. Service of the school. So don't worry about character finances.]

"Just peachy, Rory," Ivanova replied with a grin. "I see you've been put on yearbook detail. Any major printing errors I should worry about?" Like if some evil, evil person had slipped in those pictures from the pool party.

"None that I know of, and I combed it before we went to printing," Rory said. "My OCD shines in situations like this. It's really inclusive, though, which is nice. Pretty much everything we could cover got in there."

"Sad nature of yearbooks," Rory sighed. "I'm the editor and I couldn't manage to keep all pictures of me as a Christmas tree out of it, so you have my sympathies."

Ivanova laughed and patted her shoulder sympathetically. "This is why I kept out of anything even remotely high profile and hey, that's me and my girlfriend!" If you count the vaguely fuzzy people in the background of one of the snow weekend pictures . . . Ivanova's grin was beatific nonetheless.

On his way back from the gym, Cameron passed by the lobby. Taking notice of the yearbooks, he bounced up to Rory. "Yo!"

"It has pictures of everyone, and you get people to sign it," Rory explained. She picked one up and flipped through it. "See, here's your picture," she said, pointing. "And you can get people to sign and write about the school year and stuff."

"I'm sticking around, yeah...mainly because my parents moved here, and there's no way I'm going to Connecticut when my mom's this close to having the baby," she replied.
