4th Floor Common Room, [Friday, day]

Her classes have been over for so long that Mac has taken to disassembling electronic things, fiddling, and putting them back together. She's that bored.

Today she has decided to hook up her laptop to the TV in the common room, and is about to start playing The Sims 2 on the large screen. She's just loving being able to play control-freak for just a little while. It's just a little addictive. Now all she needs is to find some people to make Sim versions of...

"Okay, fine... the one with the flourescent pink?" she added hopefully. "You've gotta be a little bit out there."

Elizabeth shook her head and laughed. "Fine, I'll take the pink," she said.

Mac grinned triamphantly. "Great! Just adding in a few extras..." She started clicking away, not noticing that her track pants were suddenly just, not there. (http://img267.imageshack.us/img267/8566/geekpanties8wv.jpg)

"Now, star sign, and aspirations."

"I'm a Sagittarius, in real life," Elizabeth began, glancing across at Mac. "Um. Not being rude or anything, but weren't you wearing pants a minute ago?"

"Okay, Sagit-- what?" Mac looked confused, then finally looked away from the screen down at her legs, squeaked, and went very pink. "Oh, that's not right."

After a couple of seconds thought she shouted "that was my last pair!" at no one in particular, although it may have been aimed at some cantankerous machinery... just maybe.

"Do you want me to get you a blanket, or something?" Elizabeth asked, blushing slightly and looking up at the screen.

"Uh..." Mac leaned over to the couch and grabbed a pillow from it to cover herself with. "wow, this sucks... and is really humiliating. How do I get back to my room now?"

"Uh," Elizabeth thought for a moment. "I look out to see if anyone's coming and you run?"

Not her best idea ever really.

Mac shifted awkwardly, "Stupid washing machines," she muttered.

"This is when I wish I could become invisible or something." She sighed, "Other than that little miracle. I think your idea, is the only way."

Elizabeth nodded. "Oh yeah," she agreed.

She glanced to look at Mac again. "Well, I can still see you so I don't think you're invisible, I'm afraid."

Elizabeth rose and moved to the door of the common room. "It's all clear at the moment," she said.

"Damn," she sighed gathering up her laptop and using it as a semi-shield.

"Uh, I'm gonna run, then". She paused,
"it's been nice meeting you!" she added. Quickly checking the coast was clear herself, she walked speedily out of the common room.

"You too," Elizabeth called after her, before heading back downstairs.
