Gym, Wednesday Afternoon

Dr. Lambert had told Pip to take it easy for a few days.

Unfortunately, she hadn't been very clear. For Pip, taking it easy meant going for a light workout. It had, after all, been almost two or so weeks since he had been able to work out.

As ran on the treadmill, he wondered out long it would be before he could spar again.

It had come to Alphonse's attention that lately, he hadn't exactly been on his toes about staying in shape. So that's exactly what he came to the gym for. He didn't expect to see Pip there, either, so he gave him a wave when he saw him. "Hey, Pip. I see you're getting better."

Pip nodded. "Got the stitches out last night!" he said over the sound of the treadmill.

"Just last night? And you're out and about already?"

Pip grinned. "I"m a really bad patient," he said. "Nah, I'm taking it really easy. I dobut I'll do much more than this."

"Well it's a good thing I'm not your doctor then," Alphonse slipped a snicker and shook his head, then started to stretch on a mat sprawled out on the floor. "I've been slacking off too much myself."

"It's a good think Pip knows he isn't immortal. Otherwise he may push himself to hard after recovering from an injury."

Said Pippi heading directly for the jumpropes.

"Only semi-immortal," Pip said. "And it's been two weeks since I was able to work out. I felt like a slug."

"It's been more like two months for me," Alphonse added sheepishly.

Pippi sipped her rope over to the guys.

"Good thing you're here now then."

Pippi came up behind Al and wrapped her arms around his waist.

Lifting him off the ground, she peeked over his shoulder at the new comer.

"Hi! I'm Pippi, this is Al!"

Girls. Ranma's weakness. He tries to keep his cool though.

"Hey there... I was just spying on your battle. I'm sorry if I interupted. I'm kinda interested in martial arts and things like that so it's nice to see some sparring going on."

"Don't worry," Pip said. "I was watching myself. You a martial artist, I take it?"

"Yeah. That's me."

He tries to be friendly and smirks a bit.

Still in the air thanks to Pippi (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhighdorms/565335.html?thread=29964887#t29964887), Alphonse gave a slight wave at Ranma. "Ah, um, hi there," he greeted sheepishly. "I'm Alphonse Elric, like she said," he pointed at Pippi, who was holding him up. "Don't worry about interrupting, it wasn't anything serious."

Ranma rises, feeling it apropriate because Pippi and Al are standing (or hanging in the air).

"It's nice to meet you both."

"Charmed I'm sure." Said Pippi.

She was still holding Al so she couldn't wave. Instead she shifted her weight to one foot and waggled the other one at him.

"Is this the end of the fight?" Pip asked. "Because I'd hate for us to lose our show."

Alphonse simply groaned. If there was ever an awkward moment before, it was definitely this one...

"Wh-Wha-- Pippi!" Alphonse was surprised by her suddenly lifting him, looking down awkwardly at the new space between his feet and the ground. The fact that she could also lift him up so easily was surprising as well, despite his previous knowledge of her unusual strength.

"That is who I am." she said in a sing-song way bouncing Al a bit.

"You're pretty strong. Do you carry people around often..?"

His bad attempt at conversation. He does try his best.

"She's pretty capable of lifting around heavy stuff," Alphonse replied, and at this point giving up at trying to wriggle away free. It's a futile attempt, after all.

"It's kind of her thing," Pip said. "She's really quite strong."

"It's been known to happen... Oh!"

Pippi, standing on one foot, has been compensating for Al's wriggling... Now that he's stopped she's off balance.

And they start to fall over.

"Well I'm glad it's not me." He says this kinda without thinking. It was a bit rude but he's just being candid. He notices them tipping and he tries to stop them.
