Thursday Morning, Fifth Floor Common Room

Phoebe was sitting in the fifth floor common room flipping through channels on the television idly. Caritas last night had helped her mood a little bit, but she still had a lot on her mind. Between Camulus having left the reason he had, and trying to decide how to break the truth to Grams about Cole, she wasn't feeling very restful.

Currently, she was reclining on the couch and watching some science fiction movie that she didn't think she had ever seen before.

A very happy if slightly stressed Paige bounced into the room because she didn't fancy the second floor common room today, plus she knew there were lots of new people to meet.

"Hey Phoebes, how's everything going with Grams?" she asked.

Phoebe smiled at her sister. "I don't know, Paige," she said, sitting up so Paige could sit down with her. "I'm not sure that Grams believes that Blair is my boyfriend."

Paige winced slightly sitting beside Phoebe, "ah that's not so good is it? Would Grams definitely be able to sense the whole part demon thing with Bel?" she asked.

Phoebe sighed. "I don't know... but Cole says she's famous in the Underworld for vanquishing a lot of demons and I don't want him to be added to that belt." She shook her head. "But I don't like lying to Grams or about Cole, either."

Paige nodded, "yeah that's what he said to me too, so maybe not one of my better ideas," she agreed, "cos I actually kinda like Cole. So guess in this case lying's the best everyone really isn't it?"

She sighed a little, "do you fancy changingthe subject to something a little more cheery?" she asked.

She didn't really want to because she needed to talk to someone, but she nodded. Paige probably had had enough emo the last few days, anyway.

If Paige had known Phoebe wanted to talk she'd have been more than willing to listen, she just assumed a) she'd rather talk to Piper about it all and b)taking her mind off the subject might be a good idea for a while.

Paige grinned despite herself, "yeah the new kids, I've only met a few so far, but um...they seem nice." for nice read 'one of them is super cute'

Pippi padded into the common room rubbing her eyes.

"Good morning!"

"How did the whole fake boyfriend thing go? Well I expect?"

Phoebe shook her head and sighed. "I don't think she believes Blair is the guy I'm in love with Pippi."

"Well... That would be because you're not." She said patting her on the shoulder.

"But ya know, that could be a good thing."

Phoebe smiled at her friend.

"Could it?"

TV? Even better. "Hey, bras," he greeted them lazily as he sauntered into the common room, without a skateboard for once. "What are we watchin'?"

Phoebe grinned. "Hi Jude. Some science fiction thing. Feel free to change it if you like."

"Hey, Pheebs." Jude flopped into a chair and grabbed the remote, beginning to channel surf until he found a black and white movie. A grin spread across his face. "Awwwesome. Kill It Before It Dies. I love this one. But I can change it . . ." Jen and Nikki hated horror movies and always made him switch the channel.

Phoebe's face brightened. "Oh! That has Billy in it. You can leave it on."

"Awesome, bra, thanks." Jude chuckled. "I love these old horror flicks. But I'm not allowed any more zombie marathons because bad stuff happens when I do."

Phoebe looked at Paige and then grinned. "Zombie marathons?"

Cole wandered through the common room and paused to plant a kiss on the top of Phoebe's head.

Phoebe's face lit up as she grabbed him and kneeled up to give him a soft kiss. "Hi, love," she said, sitting back down.

He leaned over her and rested his chin on her shoulder. "What are you up to?"

"Just thinking...missing you," she said to him with a smile.

"I'm never far away," he said, rubbing her shoulders.

The sound Phoebe made might have been a purr.
