Logan was in the kitchen. Cooking. Because when you were in a kitchen, working with a blender, you could call it cooking. Even if the result was more beverage-y than food-y. It was practically summer, anyway. Perfect time for a cold iced drink. With tequila.

The television was playing "Annie".

After Cordy had taken a nap following her early morning excursion to the gym, she was relieved to find people in the second floor common room. People not named Xander.

"Finally, things seem normal around here," she proclaimed, looking at the mostly familiar faces.

"Hey, Cordy," Logan waved. "Margarita?"

"Hey Logan," Cordy said, waving back. "You just said one of my favourite words. Please!"

"My pleasure," Logan said, bringing her a frozen margarita.

"Thanks," she said, accepting the drink. "So what's new with you? I've been pretty disconnected lately."

"Hey Cordelia," Cally said. "Haven't seen you around in a while."

"Hey, Cally!" Cordy said, smiling. "No, I've been...kind of not here," she admitted. "But I should be sticking around, now."

"Awesome," Cally said before taking a sip of her margarita. "So... what's new, then?"

"Just found out my ex-boyfriend is gay. Or dating boys at least. Or making out with them," Cordy said, furrowing her brow.

"Met some of the new kids. They seem like good people. What's new with you?"

"Same, actually. Except the gay ex-boyfriend part," Cally said. "Though I guess, technically, Xander did go on a date with me, but... yeah. Otherwise, business as usual."

"I didn't know you went on a date with Xander," Cordy said. "I'm sorry."

Completely straight face, of course.

"It's kinda funny," Cally said. "Xander's now dated two thirds of ABC Damage Control."

Cordelia shuddered. "Better make sure you keep an eye on Anders," she said with a grin.

"Yeah, cause if he kisses Xander I want to be there to see it," Cally said with a chuckle.

"I wouldn't put it past him," Cordy said, deadly serious. "He'll kiss anything, in my experience."

"He doesn't play baseball, does he?" Cally asked.

Cordy looked confused. "Not that I'm aware of. If he does, I doubt he plays it well."

"Good," Cally says. "Then we don't have to worry about Anders wanting to kiss Xander."

"Hopefully Xander lets him have a say in it!" Cordy said playfully.

"I totally trust Xander to not cheat on a relationship," Cally nods. "Because Bridge could so kick his ass if it came to that."

Cordy glared for a minute.

"He wasn't afraid of me kicking his ass for it."

"Oh, frak," Cally said, her jaw dropping. "He didn't, did he?"

"He certainly did," Cordy said, frowning.

Cally blinked. "I'm gonna have a talk with him. Soon."
