Logan was in the kitchen. Cooking. Because when you were in a kitchen, working with a blender, you could call it cooking. Even if the result was more beverage-y than food-y. It was practically summer, anyway. Perfect time for a cold iced drink. With tequila.

The television was playing "Annie".

"It's a little early for margaritas, isn't it?" Cally asked.

"Nah," Logan said. "It's May!"

"Right," Cally said, and eyed the pitcher again. "So how does it feel to be all graduated?"

"Pretty damn good," Logan said. "You want or no?" he asked, gesturing at the pitcher.

"I really shouldn't," Cally said. "But, yeah, I think I will. Does a girl have to serve herself?"

"Of course not," Logan said. He poured her a glass and handed it to her.

Cally took the glass and took a very, very small sip. "Well, I'm gonna go crash on a couch, barkeep." She winked at Logan and wandered off to the common room proper.
