Moving Day - East Attic down to First Floor - starting around 10am

Veronica decided that moving sucks.

Especially when you're moving down seven flights of steps and you've somehow managed to accumulate A LOT of stuff.

She hopes that the fact that she, Chloe & Piper are all cute might net them some help. Failing that, they can always bribe with brownies.

Bel showed up at 10:00, as promised.

Piper wandered out into the common area carrying a box. She put it on the couch. "Ooh good, you're here. You'll get plenty of baked goods for helping out. You won't even have to steal any."

She grinned a little when she said that last sentence.

Bel gave her a look of outrage. "I'd never just steal them," he said. "I'm reformed, remember?"

"Uh huh," Piper said, still grinning slightly. Then it faded when she noticed all the boxes around the room. She really wasn't in the mood for this. Not today.

"What's the heaviest?" Bel asked.

Piper pointed to a random box on the table. "That one has all my baking materials in it. Um, I somehow accumulated a lot."

"Funny, that," Bel said. He picked up the box and tested the weight. "What room number are you in?"

Veronica came back up the stairs and paused in the doorway, breathing heavily. "Okay, seriously? Those steps are going to kill me today," she said.

Then she smirked at Bel. "You're right on time. You must have been a boy scout."

"Right," Bel said. "Part of the training for the Brotherhood was helping little old lady demons across the street."

"Hey, you never know," Veronica said. "We kind of got distracted during that interview. How do I know there isn't some demonic version of the boy scouts?"

She paused. "For that matter, how do I know that the boy scouts aren't demons?"

"I'm sure there are demons in the Boy Scouts," Bel mused. "And I guess the Brotherhood is the closest thing to demonic Boy Scouts. Our merit badges weren't quite the same, though.

"Anyway. What do you need help with?"

"Damn, so you don't know how to make the perfect s'more?"

Veronica surveyed the assorted boxes. "That one is books," she said, pointing.

Bel easily picked up the box. "So what room are you in?" he asked.

It was almost lunchtime, and Conner and his ever-present soccer ball were about to hit town in search of food when the commotion in the stairwell caught his attention.

Hey, old habits die hard -- it could have been Tyrannodrones, for all he knew.

"Everything okay up there?" he called.

"Yep," Veronica called back. "Just moving."

Conner stashed the ball in his pocket and headed over to the stairwell. "Need any help?"

"Sure, if you want," Veronica said with a grin. "I'm Veronica. You must be new."

Idly she wondered where all these cute boys had been when she was available.

"Just got here on Tuesday," he said cheerfully. "I'm Conner. Point me to something I can carry?"

"Oh, you're Conner," Veronica said, nodding approvingly. She could definitely see what Cally was talking about yesterday.

"And any of the boxes in that area can go to room 122," she added, pointing. "The other stuff belongs to my roommates."

Tim noticed much moving of boxes and things, and a familiar face. "Hey Veronica, herding boxes?"

"Hey... Tim, right?" Veronica said. "Yep. Moving from the attic to the first floor. It's a lot of steps."
