Second Floor Common Room, late Saturday Evening

Hamlet sat in the common room, half watching some late night TV. There was some comedy skit and musical show on, but it really wasn't very funny. He wondered about seeing if anything good was on at this time of night.

Alec took a seat on the couch, since watching TV with someone else was more interesting than watching alone. He glanced at the guy already there and grinned. "Hey, you again."

Hamlet waves to the new kid as he takes a seat, and realizes that he never caught the other boy's name. And come to think of it, he didn't really introduce himself either.


"I see you've found your shirt again. I'm Hamlet, by the way."

"Hi, hi, hi," Rory said, wandering in wearing pajama pants and a hoodie, her hair slightly touseled. Almost as though she had gone to bed and been unable to sleep. "How are we all this lovely late night?"

"Awake." Brair came downstairs into the common room. He was still fully dressed.

Jaye hasn't even tried to sleep, because it's summer. She doesn't have to. So she makes her way back down to the second floor common room and takes a seat. Waving hi.

"Alec," he said, nodding. "Nice to meet you, Hamlet. And hey, I liked Shirtless Day! It would've been a lot better Co-Ed though."

Briar waved back. So did the vines on his hands.

"New person," Alec greeted, waving back. "How's it going?"

"Bored," Alec complained. "And hoping TV can fix that."

Briar smiled at the new girl. "Is being pretty a requirment for going to school here?"

"Tattoos?" Briar offered, equally helpfully.

Briar offered a hand to shake. "Briar." The vines waved but didn't bloom. Briar mentally chided them.
