The common room is set up for your movie watching pleasure. Unfortunately the only choices available might be a little odd.

"Oh, suck." Buffy frowned. "Well, um, what about basketball? I'm trying to get a team together, and you're pretty tall..." Granted, most people were taller than Buffy.

She eyed Buffy warily. "Why are you trying to get a basketball team together?"

"So there can be a cheerleading squad!" She beamed, hoping Dawn would understand. "And also to express school spirit. That's important. For the, uh, school."

"And it has nothing to do with being able to parade around in short skirts?" Dawn asked, deciding to harass Buffy for a while instead of asking when she would have time to cheer and slay vampires.

Ignoring the fact that there didn't seem to be any vampires in town at the moment, of course.

"No! Absolutely not!" Which was true. She could wear little-little skirts every day, after all. "I did promise Alec he could wear tight shorts, though."

"He's one of us new people too. He's real pretty and he used to have a number, but now he has a name." Buffy frowned briefly. "I'm not sure why. Anyway, he said he was interested in joining the cheerleading squad. So now we're three! Me and Marie and Alec."

She seemed very pleased with herself.

"That's great," Dawn said, not as enthusiastic about the project as Buffy, "but don't you need more people to do one of those pyramidy things?"

"Well, yeah," Buffy admitted. "But it's a start!"

"Congratulations," she said, happy that Buffy was happy. It had been a while. She grinned as an evil thought occurred to her. "Have you asked Cordelia, yet? I think she might have been a cheerleader at her old school."

"Who? Oh. She's one of those who knows other-mes, isn't she?" Buffy wrinkled her nose. "But I guess, if she was a cheerleader..."
