The common room is set up for your movie watching pleasure. Unfortunately the only choices available might be a little odd.

Luckily for Dawn, Xander already had shelves on the brain, so even though he didn't buy it for a second, he was at least distracted.

"Huh. Actually I was gonna do that sometime this week," he said, nodding at Bridge. "Help, um, me build a bookshelf, I mean. Though if you need some help bookshelf building, we could always do that together."

"Bookshelf building?" Bridge raises an eyebrow. "Is that anything like scrapbooking?"

Xander raises two eyebrows. "Uh. It...wasn't intended to be? I was seriously talking about woo-- um. Shelves. But I guess bookshelf building could be like... the manly version of scrapbooking. 'Cause that is kind of a girl-type thing."

Someone who'd just arrived in Fandom might be forgiven for wondering why the prospect of woodworking projects would make Xander suddenly look like a deer of the non-teal-but-actually-rather-pink species caught in headlights, and say, "Oh look, there's Willow!" with the proportionate relief in his voice of, well, that deer after it's safely crossed the road and escaped into the forest.

Or common room.
