Bel lounged on the couch. Shhh, Passions is on.

"I better avoid them then," Marie said, matching his tone. "I wonder if there's an easy way to recognize them."

"Glowing yellow eyes," Bel said gravely. "And an overwhelming need to wear brown robes and shave a circle in the middle of their heads."

"Brown would be a really bad color on me."

"Then don't get bit!"

"I'll do my best."

Marie grinned. "Nadia said I should ask you about some robot?"

Bel glared at Nadia across the room.

"Uh oh. That looks like a cranky face."

"Yes."

"What did the robot do to you?"

"It...." Bel threw up his hands. "It followed me around and sprayed glitter on me!"

"So clearly it was an evil robot," Marie said, stifling a giggle. "Because obviously glitter is evil."

"Clearly," Bel muttered. "Evil."

Marie started laughing. "Where's the robot now?"

"Veronica has it," Bel said, still glaring. Crankily.

"I think I need to meet her," Marie said. "Where does she live?"

"She just took off for the weekend," Bel said, snapping his fingers with mock disappointment. "Too bad."

"I'll have to make it a point to meet her when she gets back."
