4th Floor Common Room - Wednesday Night - Slumber Party

Blair took a seat on the floor of the common room and looked around. The snacks were set up over by the kitchen, with a separate table just for making s'mores. There was a stack of movies next to the TV and a pile of Cosmo, Seventeen and Elle magazines on one of the coffee tables.

All he needed now was people to observe come party.

"Oh, hello!" Alphonse greeted happily. The girl seemed a bit tense, so he tried to be as casual as he could. "How're you tonight?"

She smiles, relaxed a little by the friendly demeaner of the young man. "I'm all right. I'm having a lot of fun." She doesn't look like it, not entirely, but she is. She just doesn't know what to do with the fun. "How about you? Are you from this floor, or are you visiting from a different one?"

"That's good, I'm glad," he said assuringly. "I'm just visiting. I actually live a floor down. My name's Alphonse."

"Alphonse." She repeats the name to test it. It's strange and different, but delightfully pronouncable. She grins. "I'm Sakurazaki. I'm glad you could make it." She does feel a little swell of pride for her hall; she had nothing to do with the party, but she feels as if she has a part in it merely because it's her floor's common room.

"Well it's a pleasure to meet you, Sakurazaki," Alphonse said with a smile. "And it's always good to be able to just hang out with a group of friends. I actually haven't been up here all that often."

"Are you a new student?" she asks, typical series of questions, but, from the strange, social glow she's picked up tonight, she's actually genuinely interested. "Or have you been here for a while?"

"Nah, I transferred here in January," he answered. "So not really old, not really new. Kind of in between."

Sakurazaki nods. "What do you think of the influx of new people?"

"I'm quite happy with it," Alphonse said. "I didn't exactly do a really good job with meeting people when I first came, and nearing the end of the semester a lot of folks were leaving. I've been meeting a lot of great people these past few weeks; it really is a good feeling."

"Yeah, it is," she smiles wistfully. "I think I'm really going to enjoy it here..."

"Once you get settled in, Fandom's an enjoyable place." Alphonse had noticed that Sakurazaki wasn't as tense as before, but decided to add in anyway, "If you have any questions or need anything, I'll be more than happy to help you out."

She smiles. 'I'll keep that in mind, Alphonse." She nods with the lack of honorific. She will get the hang of it. "Thank you."
