5th Floor Common Room - Thurs Evening

Pippi is fairly sure the painkiller she took in the morning has worn off, but she's rather still "high on life" as it were. So she's being careful.

She can, however be just as careful while watching television in the Common Room as in her room while looking at the wall.

Thanks to her extended stay in the Clinic and Demyx's magic she's looking better and the bruises on her wrists have faded quite a bit.

Sadly, there are no pancakes.

Nadia shrugged and flopped down, smiling at Demyx and Walter as well. "What are we watching?"

"I don't know," Walter said, moving his feet to give Nadia space to sit. "It doesn't look like Bitterwoman, but I could be wrong."

"It's called Good Eats... This is the Food Network... I like this guy... He's like... A food scientist... Or wizard... Or something..."

"Interesting..." Demyx smiled back at Nadia and Walter. "Good to see you guys, too. Everybody went missing over the weekend. It was pretty lonely for a while, but now everybody's back and healing and all will be well."

"Hey, Demyx." Walter gave the boy a smile. "I'm feeling much better today. I owe you."

"Nah, you don't owe me anything," Demyx shook his head. "I'm just glad you're feeling better."

"I love music." Pippi said.

Who loved music.

Particularly music that made her feel better.

About as much as body paint.

"I love music lessons," mumbled Walter, who appeared ready to doze off because his mun is about to take a nap.

Minutes later, he was sleeping peacefully.

Walter was cute when he was sleeping. "I love music too. But I think that's obvious."

Pippi's stomach growled.

Loudly.

"Oops..." she said, "Excuse me... We should probably think about dinner."

"Dinner? You want me to get you something from out there?" Demyx pointed in the vague direction of town.

"Out there?" she said looking out the window... "But it's so dreary out there... We should make pancakes!"

"Is it raining?" Demyx asked hopefully, peering out the window as well. "I love rain. Aren't you hurt? I don't think it'd be a good idea for you to make pancakes when you could fall over at any time."

"That's true, rain is good. Like music and body paint but then you would have to leave, and we'd all be stuck here, and you'd have to carry it all by yourself which is bad... I know! You can make the pancakes!"

"...What?" Demyx blinked blankly at her. "Me? Cook? I'll burn the whole building down! Or flood it. Either way, it wouldn't be pretty!"

"Awww no you won't!" she said waving a hand at him, "You'll be great, I'll talk ya through it. It'll be delish!"

"Give it a shot," said Nadia, who'd been distracted with watching Walter fall asleep because her mun had been driving to No. VA to coach a newbie. "You be great."

"Huh? Food?" Walter woke with a start and scrubbed a hand across his face in case he'd been drooling or something equally unbutlerly.

"We're eating now?"

"Or possibly flood the room." Nadia said lazily.

"Oh." Walter blinked a few times at the television, where someone was cooking something, which was about as much as his foggy brain seemed capable of apprehending.

"Okay."

"Go back to sleep." Pippi said to Walter. "We'll wake you if you catch on fire."

"I...I can't cook!" Demyx protested weakly, putting his hands up in defense. "I really can't!"

"Oh pishaw!" Pippi says, "It's easy! Have you ever tried?"

"Well, no," Demyx admitted, looking away. "But I can guarantee you that it's a bad idea!"
