2nd Floor Common Room, Early Friday Morning

Unable to stand being alone in her room any longer, Callisto made her way up to the second floor common room.

Flopping down on the couch, she turned on the television, eventually tuning into a Slightly Demented Nun documentary.

"I didn't," Cedric admits, quirking an eyebrow. "What if she doesn't like the implication of being called an alien?"

"Earth isn't the only place where humans live."

"Right," he says after a pause. "Sorry, I'm still getting used to the diverse people here. And I've never heard of a space ninja. They're fairly common where you're from?"

Bridge shrugs. "Ninja academies are one of the oldest traditions in the galaxies," he says. "There are a few on Earth, but they're *very* good at staying hidden."

"I know something about institutions wanting to stay hidden," Cedric replies. "Wait...you're not a secret space ninja, are you?"

"Nah," Bridge shrugs. "I'm SPD. They're not a secret."

"No ninjas in SPD?" Cedric asks.

"Well, they're not, like, mutually exclusive?" Bridge shrugs. "But ninja training's pretty intensive. So, it'd be hard to do both at once."

"Good point." Cedric wonders if there were any ninja aurors. "Still, being able to say you were a ninja wouldn't be too bad at all."

"True," Bridge says, and tilts his head. "What about you? Think you'd make a good ninja?"

"Possibly," Cedric says. "Though, my skills tends to lie in magic but I could be the first magical ninja?"

"I'm pretty sure there already are some ninjas who use magic out there," Bridge says thoughtfully. "Though you shouldn't let that discourage you."

"Magic ninjas?" Cedric says. "Well, I would guess they have a quite the array of skills in being skilled in magic and the act of being a ninja."

Bridge nods. "How sneaky are you?" he says speculatively.

"Depends on sneaky the situation calls for," Cedric answers. "I was sneaky enough to sneak out of my school's dorms a few times without being caught. And, really, that's unusual in my school."

"Hmmm," Bridge says. "You know, if you really wanna try this ninja thing, I could get you in contact with the Sensei of one of the Academies here on Earth."

"Do you think they'd let me continue using magic though?" Cedric asks. "I don't think I could give that up."

"Oh, sure." Bridge waves a hand. "I mean, like you said, a ninja who could do magic? Pretty impressive skill set."

"Considering I have no idea if I'm going back to Hogwarts, I might look into becoming a ninja of magic. The training sounds like it would be similar to that of a wizard, at least."
