2nd Floor Common Room, Early Friday Morning

Unable to stand being alone in her room any longer, Callisto made her way up to the second floor common room.

Flopping down on the couch, she turned on the television, eventually tuning into a Slightly Demented Nun documentary.

"Still, they're pretty eye catching," Cedric says. "And they can't be removed at all?"

"Nope. The whole 'permanent' part of a tattoo."

"Huh." Cedric peers at the tattoos. "And they never stop moving?"

Briar shook his head. "Nope. The flowers bloom, grow, and die. The vines move around. They do stay in the general area that I originally drew them on though."

"And you did this because...?"

Briar paused for a second and shrugged. "I got tired of being followed when I went into stores and the gaurds saw the double-x tattoos on my hands." He shrugged again. "I lived on the streets for six years."

"So, they're a type of defense? Disguise?"

Briar blinked. "Um, disguise I guess? They were just supposed to cover up the old tattoos."
