Shooting range, Friday during the day

This is Aeryn's way of trying not to get emo all over the dorms. At least here it's contained.

There's something about being able to wear her weapon here and actually shoot at something that can't fight back that's comforting. It's normal. This is a Peacekeeper standard issue pulse pistol being fired repeatedly and accurately at the special target that doesn't disintegrate when she hits it, though the paper targets might be more satisfying at the moment.

Shooting makes her feel better.

"Thanks." Parker pauses, and takes the earmuffs off for a moment. "I think I'll open up Gun Club tomorrow. See if any of the new kids are interested. I could use more practice." She cocks her head at Aeryn's gun. "That's still working, hunh?"

"Technically speaking, it's a different one," she says. "Um. One of the new kids, Dean, I know he asked who he would speak to about joining."

"Me, I guess, while Marty's in Tahiti. I can handle it better now that school's not in session." She paused. "That's Alec's double, right? Different hair, same face?" Parker looked speculatively at the gun again. "Is our esteemed Sheriff still selling those, or is she out of the alien gun angle now?"

"That's him," she says. "And as far as I know they're still being sold." Enough to be investigated by the Peacekeepers, anyway, but she'd not admitting that.

"I really need to pick up one of those. The Island's been quiet for a while, but I don't trust that." She put the .Sig down and loaded her 9mm. "Did you ever want to try one of these?"

"Fair enough." Parker finished chambering the gun, and reached for the ear protction. "Hmm. You aren't planning on shooting Jack, are you? 'Cause if so, I need to get him some Kevlar."
