4th Floor Common Room; Saturday afternoon.
The hours seemed to be dragging by with nearly painful slowness. Part of Sakurazaki wants to go explore the town a little more, but she is socially inept, and would much rather have company to show her around. Armed to the teeth with English textbooks, she takes what little she can remember of her conversation with Z-san from last night, and heads for the common room. She spreads them out all around her as she sits on the floor and begins translating one of her Edo romance novels for Isabel-san. How could she have forgotten that they were in Japanese? She had a lot of work to do. Nice, boring work. Hopefully, this would be like honey to flies.

ack"I'm told that's a common thing." Tim said. "My name's Tim." His name seemed boringly short compared to hers.
"What are you working on?"

She grins slightly, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "Three reasons. One, it's always important to practice. My English speaking is pretty good, but writing it is still quite difficult. Two, I promised to let Isabel-san borrow some books, but I forgot that they were in Japanese. Three, Z-san mentioned that you should always have something boring on hand if you're going to be in a common room and hope for people to show up. At least, I think that's what she said. I was so tired that I really can't remember."

"I don't think I've met any of those people, but that sounds like good advice."

The frown quickly turns into a smile, though. Does she actually know more people than someone else? She'd have to mention that to Ojou-sama; she'd be proud. "They're very nice girls. I just met Z-san and a whole handful of people I can't quite remember well last night. Have you met many people so far?"

the books I'm from are afterall, told in first person." tim said, settling down on the couch. "About a week ago, Pippi and Walter, don't know if you met them yet, were possesed by an evil Faerie, and a Vampire respectively. They kidnapped Nadia and Mr. Blackadder, they were rescued by Pip...."he

Her frown is deep. Ever since it was mentioned to her in passing, she'd tried to forget about it. She can't quite get over the fact that something like that could happen and completely go under her radar. And, no, she didn't accept that being new gave her an excuse. The fact that Tim was here, telling her the story, showed just how poor that excuse was.

Besides, thinking of how to construct her response inspired an ironic grin. "I was sent here because I need to learn how to be 'normal.' I think I might be in the wrong place."

She is about to return the question back to him, but, recalling her story, realizes that she knows the answer to that one. So, due to lack of better things to do, she just tries to maintain a soft smile.
