Stickbug Campfire [late evening]

Greg, it should be noted, was neither emo nor pouty.

'Thoughtful' might be a good word to use, though, and on someone like Greg, it may have beared a passing resemblance to emo. Perhaps emo's second cousin, or the like.

In any case, he was there, poking gently at the hot embers with a stick and trying to keep the smoke from hitting him in the face.

[Open like an open thing that's open to people who want to visit the Stickbug campfire omg.]

"Not as many as there used to be. In fact, I only know of one, and he's harmless, since he's only a puppy," Parker admitted. "But! The Bloodsucking Bitches from Hell could return at any time. We never did finish killing them." She scowled, less than thrilled to be remembering this.

"The Bloodsucking ******* from ****?" James blinked at Parker in shock, totally ignoring the little censor bar that covered his mouth and replaced the offensive words with high-pitched beeps. "Who are the Bloodsucking ******* from ****?"

So, this is new.

Parker stared. "How did you do that?"

[identity profile] rocketbitch.livejournal.com 2006-05-22 08:51 am (UTC)(link)
James totally had no idea what Parker was talking about.

"Do what? Repeat what you said?"

He had the suspicion that perhaps she was messing with him, or something.

She blinked, wondering if was really *that* late. "Uh. Darla and Drusilla--" Parker watched him carefully. "The bitches from Hell. One was a teacher. The other just hung around a lot. They both disappeared about two months ago." She paused, unable to resist. "Complete skank hos."

James paid close attention, taking in every last word as though it was gospel truth.

"So these ***** **s are bad news? Did they hurt people?"

He was really going to be needing that nightlight tonight.

Parker stared in fascination. "Do you know what happens when you try to curse?"

[identity profile] rocketbitch.livejournal.com 2006-05-22 09:05 am (UTC)(link)
"No?" James stared at Parker blankly. "Is something supposed to happen?"

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2006-05-22 09:15 am (UTC)(link)
She blinked again, recovered a tiny bit of her self-possesion and said, "Not important. And the bitches have never been heard from again."

[identity profile] rocketbitch.livejournal.com 2006-05-22 09:17 am (UTC)(link)
"So then, there's no danger of them coming back, right? If they haven't been heard from again, why would they show up now?"

James was using 4kids cartoon stupid-person logic again. Which wasn't so bad, really. Enough stupid-person logic, and he might actually manage to get some sleep tonight.

"Because they are undead bloodsucking fiends and they hate us," Parker said in a sinister voice. Then grinned. "And they're probably a zillion miles away. Really. Don't believe me." She yawned. "I got to get to bed. Just remember not to invite anyone into your cabin, okay?"

[identity profile] rocketbitch.livejournal.com 2006-05-22 09:28 am (UTC)(link)
James stared at Parker long and hard, trying to piece all of what he had just been told into some semblance of order.

"Bloodsucking fiends... invite... okay?"

It made enough sense.

James game to the grim realization that not only was he going to be needing his favorite nightlight, but it might also be a good idea to pull out his plushie koffing, too.
