Koala Campfire: Friday evening

In honor of it being Friday - and because she promised Bel that they'd make s'mores at some point - Lana collected the appropriate supplies while she was in town and now has plenty of stuff for people to toast marshmallows, make s'mores or snack on a variety of things which don't need a campfire.

She assembled everything and set it out by the Koala campfire.

"Hey Lana." Tim said, as he wandered like a thing that wanders.

"Hey! Come join me - us, eventually, I hope." Lana grinned at him. "So how'd your first week of semi-classes go?"

"Pretty well. I didn't have much to offer during the leadership semi-class, cause it was all about camping, and I've never done that. But I learned about it. And Artie's class was fun. How'd you like Nature Magic?"

"It was nice. I have my container garden in the cabin. It will be so nice to have growing things in my room. I don't know why I didn't think of getting a plant for my room before."

"Botany wasn't quite my speed." tim said. "If I got a house plant it'd probably wind up home to pixies or a dryad or something. Which, on the other hand, wouldn't neccesarily be a bad thing."

Bel wandered out of the cabin. The bruises on his face were beginning to fade, fortunately. He took a seat by the fire. "Hey, Lana, hey Tim," he said.

"Bel! I have all the stuff to toast marshmallows and make s'mores." She stopped and looked at him more closely. "Hey, what happened?"

"Just leftovers from sparring with Alanna," he said, dismissing them with a wave of his hand. "No big."

Lana smiled a little ruefully. "I used to go to her self-defense club, but when some of the newer students came in I just felt so out of my league I stopped going."

"I stopped going when Alanna wanted to kill me," Bel said, just as rueful.

"How you doing?" Bel asked.

"Pretty good. You look like you've seen some action though."

"Alanna," Bel said with a grin. "She's small but fast."

Phoebe dropped down onto a log next to the fire.

"Hey everyone."

"Phoebe!" Lana exclaimed. "I have stuff for s'mores and all here!"

"Great! I'm looking forward to them."

"I haven't had these in ages," Lana said. "I know they're terrible for you, but they're sooo good!"

"Thet are wonderful and sinfully decadent."

Cole moved over to Phoebe's log. "Hey, sweetheart," he said.

Phoebe smiled softly and then looked his face over in concern.

"Who?" she demanded.

"Alanna, but we were just sparring," he said. "No killing her, please."

Phoebe nodded. "Sparring is fine. I won't kill her and you can't kill John Connor."

"Hey Lana. Hey guys." Maia came out by the campfire and glanced at all the stuff. "Ooo candy bars." She said happily, she didn't seem to realize the significance of the grahm crackers and marshmallows. "OOooo mallows." She said taking one and squishing it down before biting it in half. "Did you do all this?" Maia said in an voice showing she was impressed.

Lana smiled at her. "Hey, Maia. Yeah, I did. They're for s'mores actually and toasting marshmallows." Lana demonstrated for her. "See? Much better than having them each alone."
