Snake Campfire, Monday Evening

Joxer was, shock and surprise, not wearing his armor. That would be because he was polishing it, with nothing but spit, a rag, and good old elbow grease. Do not fear, however, as Joxer was still fully clothed in leggings and tunic. Public nudity would not become him, after all.

His stomach was grumbling. Because Joxer still hadn't figured out that there was food available in the dining area. Poor dumb fool.

The one thing that didn't cease to amaze Joxer was all the pretty girls who actually came up and talked to him out of their own free will.

"Hi," he said. "I'm Joxer the Mighty. Thought you can just call me Joxer."

"Hi!" said Tim, who was really starting to get into this meeting new girls people thing."

"Hi Kaylee!" Alphonse greeted with a wave.

Parker came by, fairly happy from time with Jarod, but in a weird mood because of an e-mail she'd gotten. "Hey, Joxer." She cocked her head. "What are you doing?"

"The old armor got a bit dingy, being out in the wilderness," Joxer explained. "Giving it a bit of a polish so it can have its proper shine."

Seras passed by the Snake campfire on her way back from her workshop and the various other handwavy events of the day when she saw Joxer spit polishing his armour.

"I don't mean to speak out of place," she said tentatively, "But, I work for All and Sundries, and we do sell armour polish...should you be interested."

Joxer smiled up at Seras. "I kind of like doing it this way," he said. "You think it could use some proper polish, though?"

Alphonse trotted by, and hey, there were people, new and old. With that noted, he decided to hang out at the campfire. "Hello," he greeted.

"Hullo, Al! How've you been?"

"Hey Alphonse, you missed it, last night while I was standing guard I heard howling in the woods, and then a voice whispered there was evil here. Then I got hit with an orange."

Feeling a little better after sleeping the entire afternoon, Max went outside to see some people gathered around the campfire. It would provide a nice distraction.

"Hey, people!" he says brightly as he sits down.

Xander waved at the people surrounding Snake Cabin's campfire, as he headed back from town and towards... Pangolin actually, but conveniently, given the location of his favorite Pangolin resident, he could stop right here after all.
