Squirrel campfire, Monday night

After spending a rather lazy day hiding lying about in her alcove, Nadia headed out after sunset to build a campfire and relax. She had her guitar out, of course, and was currently plucking away at nothing in particular, just kind of making up a song as she went along.

Which meant that what she was playing was rather repetitive and not terribly good, but, well, what could you do?

Walter came out of the cabin, still damp from showering after his visit to the gym, and grinned at Nadia. "Hey. I haven't seen you all day. Have you been relaxing?"

Nadia grinned up at him and nodded. "Yeah. I slept really late, too. What have you been up to?"

"Not much. I did get some handwavey swimming in earlier because it was so warm and then a trip to the gym a little while ago."

He held up the bag of moaning marshmallows he'd gotten from Weasley's. "I still have some more of these whiny snacks, if you'd like some."

Nadia shook her head. "No, thank you. I prefer it when my food doesn't scream when I cook it."

Walter made a face at her and popped an uncooked one in his mouth.

"Right then. How's your wrist feeling?" He nodded toward the guitar. "I'll have to let you get some more practicing done so we can get back to our lessons."

Pippi flounced out of the cabin where she'd been reviewing footage from her camcorder in an effort to decide what to make her documentary on.

"Hi!"

"Hey Pippi, how's it going?"

"Pretty good... I've pretty much spent the whole day lazing around cleaning my garage and obsessing over icons and trying to decide what to make my documentary on."

"Cool. I've been out watching Poseidon and helping my friend move doing about the same. Nice lazy day."

"It most certainly was." Pippi nodded. "We were entirely to well behaved today... We really should do something about that."

Tim, having had a grand time at the Snake (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhighdorms/616791.html?view=37177943#t37177943) campfire, now found himself at the Squirrel fire.

Walter waved and tossed Tim an opened bag of marshmallows that scream when you cook them "Hi. Welcome."

I found sound files of that bit on the internet. I particularly like the bit about what would happen to Pippi is she were to meet Dean.

Nadia waved. "Hey Tim, you certainly get about, don't you. Or is your campfire no fun?"

Seras made her way over to the campfire and plunked down.

"Hullo faces I haven't seen in awhile."

Nadia grinned. "Hey, Seras, how are you?"

"Well, things have been dull for me, lately. But, from what I understand about Fandom thus far, this is a Good Thing."

"A Very Good Thing." Nadia tilted her head. "So, um, no need for a bell, or anything?"

"My fellow Squirrels," Pip said as he walked into the firelight.

"I bring you... CAKE!" He uncovered the plate he was carrying to reveal a carrot cake. "If someone could take this off my hands, I can fetch some plates and forks."

"Oo!" Nadia set her guitar aside and reached out to take the cake from him. "Can't say no to cake." She frowned. "Unless it's from that joke shop. Where'd you get it?"

"I made it," Pip said. "Baking class. One moment, I will fetch instruments for consumption."

He walked off towards the cabin and returned with platic forks and paper plates.
