Squirrel Campfire - Thursday late afternoon/early evening

Pippi is taking the air out by the Squirrel firepit. There's a small blaze going, more for light then heat.

Both classes today gave her new toys to play with... And currently, she's using the minicomp from Outdoorsmanship to look up the lotions she was given in Sex Ed.

She's highly amused.

Molly had been meaning to stop by and visit Pippi since last week. Apparently, today was finally the day she actually remembered to do so.

"Pippi!" Molly said when she saw her sitting by the fire.

"Molly!" Pippi waved, "Hi! Didja get my message?"

"Where didja leave it?" Molly asked as she came over and sat down. "I didn't see anything at my cabin."

"Oh, I called your voice mail." Pippi said. "It was a dire warning of Stickbug machinations!"

"Oh! I don't have a phone here," Molly said. "What are those Stickbugs up to now?"

"Ah." Pippi said, "Good thing you dropped by then."

Pippi explained about her "homework" and how she gave a bit to Tyler (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/886206.html?thread=42800830#t42800830).

"It could be just that he's trying to impress some young filly." Pippi mused. "But the fact that he asked me about revenge before asking for some of the lotion? Not entirely subtle." She took the opened bottle from her pocket and looked at it.

"I'm not even sure it does anything... the gnome with him seemed to be interested in it though."

Molly snickered a little at the mention of the gnome.

"Hmmm, yeah, the mention of revenge doesn't really sound like he's trying to impress a girl. Can I smell it?" she asked and held her hand out for the bottle.

He still had the watergun, but it was tucked into the waistband of his shorts. Loaded and ready to go, but for the moment, put away.

"Camp Onawanna," he sang softly to himself. "We hold you in our hearts..." he saw Pippi and ambled in her direction. "Hey fellow Leader in training."

"Hi Tim!" Pippi greeted him. "My but you're looking quite... dry today."

"I gotta say, beginning of June and no one else thought to start with the water guns? I'm surprised."

does pippi have the lotions with her?

Pippi looked up at the sky.

"I dunno, kinda looks like rain to me."

Nadia had finished putting away the things from All and Sundries and wandered outside, evn as thunder rolled a bit in the sky which is a detail included because it totally just did, here, and I say I'm close enough to Alexandria to go ahead and use these details. "Hey Pippi, what have you got there?"

"Hi Nadia!" Pippi waved. "It's a minicomp. Professor Herrington loaned them to us for Outdoorsmanship class. They've got all kinds of map stuff in'em but you can also check your email n'stuff. It's way more handy then my laptop!"

"Cool." Nadia came over and sat down, glancing occassionally at the sky. "I think it might rain a bit too much for us to have our water attack tonight."

Pippi looked up at the sky.

"Hmm, ya." she said, "I guess you're right... On the other hand... Who ever expects a water war during a rain storm?"

"But no one would be outside." Nadia shrugged. "So," she said, not at all casually. "How was sex ed?"

"We were given... things."

"Hi kids," Pip said as he sat down next to the fire and lit a cigarette. "Does anyone have marshmellows for toasting, or am I going to have to go into the cabin?"

"Sorry Pip." she says, "I just got lotion. No marshmallows."
