Secluded Cove: Sunday Morning, just before Sunrise

There were a lot of places where the woods met the water, but Jack thought this was one of the nicest.

Nestled between two outcroppings of rock, the entire ocean was spread out before it and, as the sun was starting to tinge the scattered clouds a subtle shade of gold, it promised to provide an excellent view of the sunrise.

[Locked to Jack & Cedric, thanks.]

Cedric does take a seat, stretching his legs out in front of him.

"I haven't been out here yet," he says, breathing deeply. "It's so quiet."

"Thank you," he says and takes the tea with a small smile. "The sunrise..."

He trails off and looks up, focusing intently on the sky and the rising sun.

"It..." He tries to say something else but gets distracted again by the color striking the ocean and the rays flitting through the crowd. "I've...never seen anything like that."

"There was nothing like this in England," he explains, still watching the sky. "Well, I'm sure there was but...I never took the time to look, you know. There are so many colors."

Running a hand through his hair, he turns to Jack and says, "And you're showing me something I've ignored for years. I...thank you."

"You...Jack," he says, unable to contain his grin. "Breakfast? And this? You did this for me?"

"Thank you," Cedric answers quietly, reaching a hand over to brush against Jack's cheek. "This is...wonderful. I've never had anyone do this sort of thing for me. Breakfast and the ocean and the sunrise and the quiet. You've outdone yourself, Jack. And I thank you."

"Come here," he says, bringing Jack closer to him. Holding his tea in one hand and Jack's face in the other, he kisses him again.

Pulling back a little, Cedric rests his forehead against Jack, grinning all the while.

"I'm never going to forget this," he says. "You got up early for me and did all this and I'm not going to forget it."

And he kisses him again.

Cedric only nods and carefully sets his mug down near his leg so he can slide his other arm around Jack's shoulders and pull himself closer.

"Getting up early was worth it," he says against Jack's mouth.

The arm Cedric has wrapped around Jack's shoulders slowly slides down and finds it way just under the hem of his shirts, fingers brushing Jack's side.

Still close, Cedric deepens the kiss, enjoying the sensation of lips and sun and fresh air.

Cedric has to pull away for a moment to catch his breath but, after that brief moment, he's right back against Jack, hand moving from Jack's side into his hair.

Cedric makes a low sound when he feels Jack's fingers moving and he couldn't have held it quiet even if he'd tried.

And, because there's so much, Cedric slides his mouth against Jack's and then moves down, sucking at his neck and throat.

Feeling himself being pushed, Cedric nods unthinkingly, arms curling around Jack to keep him close.

When his back hits the ground, he leans up, seeking Jack's mouth and his skin and his touch again.

This time, Cedric moans against Jack's mouth, fingers fumbling with the hem of Jack's shirt.

Laughing, Cedric manages to say, "You saved the tea," before that trails into another sound of pleasure.

Pushing himself up on his elbow, he twists slightly, trying to just get rid of his sweater and shirt.

[identity profile] chasingsnitches.livejournal.com 2006-06-05 01:12 pm (UTC)(link)
"You're so thoughtful," Cedric laughs, helping Jack slide his sweater and shirt off. "Tea should never be wasted."

Once his sweater and shirt are by the wayside, he draws Jack back down, skin to skin.

For some reason, Cedric opens his eyes. Still kissing Jack, he opens his eyes and reaches up to trace one finger across his eyebrows, down the bridge of his nose and, eventually, sliding behind his neck to brush the hair there.

[identity profile] chasingsnitches.livejournal.com 2006-06-05 01:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Cedric's breathing is irregular and rough and he hasn't let Jack move away or off of him. He doesn't want him to.

"Jack..." He stops to clear his throat. "Do you want to?"

[identity profile] chasingsnitches.livejournal.com 2006-06-05 02:30 pm (UTC)(link)
He just lets that sink in for a moment, one hand running up and down Jack's back to keep something solid underneath his fingers.

"Jack, that's..." He blinks and smiles up at him. "All right. Not like this."

He leans up and presses a kiss against his lips. "Not like this."

[identity profile] chasingsnitches.livejournal.com 2006-06-05 03:08 pm (UTC)(link)
"That sounds wonderful," he says, slipping his shirt and sweater back on.
