Secluded Cove: Sunday Morning, just before Sunrise
There were a lot of places where the woods met the water, but Jack thought this was one of the nicest.
Nestled between two outcroppings of rock, the entire ocean was spread out before it and, as the sun was starting to tinge the scattered clouds a subtle shade of gold, it promised to provide an excellent view of the sunrise.
[Locked to Jack & Cedric, thanks.]

[Locked to Jack & Cedric, thanks.]

He began pulling things out his pack: a blanket, which he spread on the sand, motioning to Cedric to sit, a thermos, two cups, and a brown paper bag.

"I haven't been out here yet," he says, breathing deeply. "It's so quiet."
no subject
He unscrewed the lid and poured two cups, handing one to Cedric. "Tea," he said with a small smile. "And the sunrise this morning should be incredible."
As if in response to Jack's words, the sky was lightening, gold starting to creep around the edges of the scattered cloud.
no subject
He trails off and looks up, focusing intently on the sky and the rising sun.
no subject
He stretched back, watching the sky turn pink and gold as the sun crept higher in the sky, the colours reflecting off the ocean. "And a sunrise over the ocean seemed to fit."

Running a hand through his hair, he turns to Jack and says, "And you're showing me something I've ignored for years. I...thank you."

"I'm never going to forget this," he says. "You got up early for me and did all this and I'm not going to forget it."
And he kisses him again.
no subject
He pulled away just long enough to say, "Another successful first," before returning to the kiss.
no subject
"Getting up early was worth it," he says against Jack's mouth.

Still close, Cedric deepens the kiss, enjoying the sensation of lips and sun and fresh air.

There was sun and sand and the sound of the ocean and Cedric's mouth against his, Cedric's back warm under his palm, Cedric's pulse beating under his thumb. There was a hand against his side, Cedric's hand against his side, brushing across his skin, and Jack's focus narrowed until everything that wasn't Cedric fell away.

When he returned, Jack kissed him, mouth open, the hand on Cedric's back sliding down his spine, fingers slipping under his waistband to tease across his skin, the hand on his neck dropping to curl around his shoulders.
no subject
And, because there's so much, Cedric slides his mouth against Jack's and then moves down, sucking at his neck and throat.
no subject
And it was still all Cedric, everything else irrelevant, and Jack could have stopped himself maybe but he didn't even try.
no subject
When his back hits the ground, he leans up, seeking Jack's mouth and his skin and his touch again.
no subject
He freed his hands to push shirt and sweater aside and laid his palms flat on Cedric's stomach, fingers curling to drag across the skin.

He returned his hands to Cedric's stomach, and dipped his head to press a kiss to the skin above his belly button, pushing his shirts up and kissing his way up the exposed skin.
no subject
Pushing himself up on his elbow, he twists slightly, trying to just get rid of his sweater and shirt.
no subject
Sitting back on his heels, he tugged at Cedric's shirt and sweater, drawing them upwards.
no subject
Once his sweater and shirt are by the wayside, he draws Jack back down, skin to skin.
no subject
He trailed a hand slowly up Cedric's side and over his shoulder to cradle his face, brushing his thumb across Cedric's jaw.

He pulled away to brush feather light kisses across Cedric's jaw, then kissed him lightly on the mouth, letting his forehead rest against Cedric's, eyes closed, breath unsteady.
no subject
"Jack..." He stops to clear his throat. "Do you want to?"
no subject
He fought his automatic reaction, forcing himself to actually think about the question, and looked down at Cedric, one finger tracing the arch of his cheek.
"Wanting shouldn't be a question," he said slowly, pressing himself tighter against Cedric. "But-" He paused and met Cedric's eyes. "Not like this." A half smile escaped as he echoed Cedric's words back at him. "Not here. Not for you."
There was a definite hint of embarrassment in his voice when he said, "You're worth more than that."
no subject
"Jack, that's..." He blinks and smiles up at him. "All right. Not like this."
He leans up and presses a kiss against his lips. "Not like this."
no subject
He shifted off Cedric, shivering slightly in the crisp air, handing Cedric his sweater and shirt before reaching for his own and pulling it on.
Glancing around, he chuckled, reaching for the cup he'd rescued previously. It was still warm, and he offered it to Cedric with a smile. "Tea?"
