The Roof, Wednesday Evening

Ranma would sit down, but he's worried he'll fall asleep. He vowed not to and he'll be damned to break it. He paces around the roof mindlessly. He might do it all night. Anything to keep himself from sleeping. He's not paying attention to what's going on at all. He's pretty darn exhausted.

John walked up to the roof and saw Ranma looking dazed. He toed a rock at him.

It hits him on the ankle and he looks up and sees him. "Hey John."

"The hell are you doingout here?" He's stillwearing his sling.

"Well I'm walking. What happened to you? Slip on some pudding?" HE looks a lot like a zombie. bbaggy eyes and such.

"Didn't sleep. I can't fall asleep, so I'm walking to stay awake."

"Well I said I wouldn't sleep until I know she's okay. And right now I don't know if she's okay."

"I can't find out. She told me to go away."

"Wouldn't you like to know." He sticks out his tounge. "Hey wait. I know. Tell me what happened to your arm and I'll tell you who it is."

"You should go to the clinic. And she is Setsuna." Why is he blushing? Just from saying her name? He's a loser.

"It'll be fine. I've got another arm. And who's this Setsuna? Or what's this Setsuna, if she's from around here." John doesn' tsay anything about Ranma blushing like a dink.

"She's one a few rooms away from mine. Setsuna Sakurazuki. She's got black hair and brown eyes like the average Japanese girl."

"Average Japanese girl? So she's a ninja?" John is, of course, world travelled and savy. Sure.

"Of course she's a Ninja. She's an Oriental chick at Fandom." John makes a ninja swish movement with his left hand. "Ow."

"Hey really. You should get that checked." He's not trying to sound concerned or anything. John's his friend though and he DOES in fact give a damn that he's in pain.
