Fifth floor common room, Thursday morning

No workshops plus what was ultimately a pretty good couple of days meant that Nadia was in a rather ridiculously good mood as she lounged on the couch in the common room watching a show that was either for very young children, or very stoned people.

She wanted to change the channel, but the pile of very cute, yet very clingy kittens on top of her wouldn't let her.

There was a full plate of fresh pineapple empanadas for sharing, especially if someone could reach the remote without getting kitten-mobbed.

Marie had no workshops, though she hadn't necessarily had a pretty good couple of days, therefore, she was in a good mood, but not ridiculously so.

"Good morning," she greeted Nadia. "Um, what's with the kittens?"

Nadia shrugged, causing a kitten on her shoulder to mewl piteously as its perch was disturbed.

"No idea. I suspect it has something to do with the rain of pudding." She grinned. "How are you?"

"I'm pretty good," Marie said. "And is it normal for it to rain pudding here?"

Jamie gave Marie a little wave as a kitten crawled up his pant leg. "Hey Marie."

Marie smiled and waved back. "How's it going, Jamie?"

Jamie walks into the fifth floor common room with two kittens on his head. He nods at his roomie and Marie as though bunch of kittens clinging to everyone is a normal kind of thing.

"Morning, Jamie," said Nadia from beneath an expanding pile of kitties.

"Morning," Jamie said as one of the kittens jumped down to his shoulder. "Sleep well?"

Pippi flounces into the common room with several kittens scampering and bouncing around her feet.

"Good morning!" she chimed, "Oh! Empanadas! May I have one?"

She turned to sniff at the plate of delightful treats to reveal a kitten or two clinging to the back of her shirt.

"Go for it," Nadia waved from where she was now almost entirely hidden beneath the pile of kittens.

Pippi leaned over to grab one just as a particularly rambunctious kitten make a leap to attach it self to the front of her shirt. The end result being that there is now a cat with its claws hooked into her braids covering her face.

Pippi said something, possibly it was "Thank you." But it came out muffled as she said it into a cat chest.

"Mew!"

"Hi Pippi," Jamie said with a wave of his arm, wher a kitten was clinging on it and squeeing in delight.

What? Kittens can squee.

"Good morning Jamie!" Pippi waved to him as two kittens crawled up her back onto her shoulders and started trying to climb her braids. The kitten that was already ontop of her head mew'ed at them.

"I don't suppose these little guys are related to you in anyway?" she asked as she pulled one off the hem of her skirt and scritched it under the chin.

Walter had had to leave his room as a bastion of non-kittenness. Apparently Pup was a one-kitten kind of hellpuppy.

Fortunately, clever use of Cat had allowed him to convince the clingy kitties waiting at his door that they didn't want to go in where the mean hellpuppy awaited.

Not so fortunately, that meant they followed him for protection from the mean hellpuppy. He was lucky he could walk for all the purring, twining, and general kittening going on underfoot.

"This is like the bunnies, isn't it? Without the dancing?"

Nadia's response was muffled due to the fact that she was completely buried by freaked out, clingy kittens.

It was probably along the lines of "Yes, quite."

"Hey Wally," Jamie said in greeting. "How's it going?"

"Good morning Walter!" Pippi said hopping over the back of the couch to sit on the other side of him.

Of course, she did this carefully so as to avoid crushing any kittens.

Tyler had the traces of a black eye, a worried expression, handcuff-style bracelets on each wrist, and kittens clinging to the legs of his jeans.

It was possible this was not his day.

"Hey Stickbug," Jamie said trying to keep a kitten from getting into his coffee mug. "What happened to your eye?"

Nadia waved at him. Her hand had a kitten wrapped around it, that didn't much appreciate being waved about.

"Hi Tyler,"

"Good morning Tyler." Pippi waved an empenada at him as a kitten dangled from the arm that did so.

"Good morning." Walter waved a kitten at Tyler. "Having a very Fandom day?"

Gwynn came into the common room looking very confused, and continuously pulling an adorable gray kitten off of her head to sit on her shoulder. Other kittens were attached to her legs and trying to climb up her.

"Uhmm... please explain to me what is going on?"

She again moved the kitten, this time from her face so she could look around.

"Kittens everywhere," Nadia offerend helpfully. "Hi Gwynn!"

"Good morning Gwynn!" Pippi waved. A chorus of mews joined her in greeting.
