Outside the Dorms, Friday Morning

Strangely, Sakurazaki had woken up this morning with Shonen Knife's Frogphobia stuck in her head. It wasn't until after she'd had her shower and decided to go outside and meditate before the book fair that she realized exactly why.

She'd managed to slip out while Genghis was sleeping; he had made the other kitties sleep on the floor, and she feared that he might be ensighting them to build pyramid in the room when she got back, but it would be nice to enjoy a morning free from a warlord cat on her head. However, frogs were much easier to avoid, although she did have to clear a few of them away from her prefered spot of mediation outside the dorms.

She mostly meditates on if anyone around here likes frog legs.

Sakurazaki shakes her head. "Don't worry about it; I was doing very well, anyway. Hard to concentrate today, so you actually didn't interupt much."

"That's good! Well, not good 'cause ya couldn't mediatate but good that I wasn't interruptin' . . ." Jude trailed off, tangled up in his own logic.

Sakurazaki grins. "I get what you mean," she assures him.

"Good, 'cause I don't know if I do," Jude chuckled.

There's definately another smile for that. "So, what do you think of all the frogs?" she asks absently, as she pokes on that lands beside her. It lets out a throaty croak.

"Good rhythm, some wicked harmonies, but I think they have to rework their lyrics a bit before anyone will sign them," he replied, deadpan.

"Market them in Japan. Singing frogs would already be a big hit as it is; hook them up with some random yet spunky American catch phrases, and you've got a pop sensation." She, too, is gravely serious.

"Sounds like a plan." He glanced at his small legion of frogs. "How does it sound to you guys?"

Apparently it sounded just fine.

She chuckles. "I can picture all the insanely cute merchandise right now. And it kind of scares me, I've got to admit."

Jude laughed. "Yeah, the Japanese are kinda good at the insanely cute merchandise, aren't they?"

Her eyes widen fearfully. "You have no idea."

"I don't think I wanna know, then."

"If I ever manage to drag you over to Japan, you'll have to witness it for yourself. There's no other way to truly understand it." She nods sagely.

"Good," she says with a firm nod and a satisfied smile.
